Cute penguins walk the streets of Kyoto, "Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan" TV anime adaptation coming soon! Broadcasting will begin on October 5 on TOKYO MX and other stations.

A TV anime adaptation of the manga "Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan," written by Yuki Natsume and serialized in "BE・LOVE" (Kodansha) since 2016, has been decided.

Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan" is a story about a penguin chick, "Chitose-chan," who follows her curiosity around Kyoto. The story depicts Kyoto's famous landmarks such as Wataratsuki Bridge, Arashiyama's bamboo grove, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, and Kiyomizu Temple from the penguin's point of view, as well as Kyoto's local specialties and seasonal foods. The original story has been published in three book volumes to date.

It has been announced that "Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan" will be adapted into a TV anime, which will begin airing as a short anime on October 5 (Fri.) on TOKYO MX and KBS Kyoto.
The TV anime will be directed by Kyo Yatate, with music by Koguma. Animation production will be handled by Gathering.
