Pokemon GO" Gameplay Diary:Mysterious looking Pokemon appear in "Pokemon GO"!

While playing Pokémon GO the other day, I came across a strange looking Pokémon. Are these strange Pokémon, with the same name but without the familiar appearance, like Pikachu for a limited time?

They appear in "Pokémon Sun Moon."

They are Pokémon that inhabit the "Alola Region" in the Nintendo 3DS game "Pokémon Sun Moon," and they have gradually begun to appear in Pokémon GO.
How are they different from the Pokémon of the "Kantou Region," the setting of "Pokémon Red, Green, Blue," etc.?

Around the beginning of June, there was an event in which Naschy appeared so large that it protruded from the screen, but from the beginning of July, I rarely saw it, so I wondered if I could get any more Pokémon in Alola form.

Two types of Pokémon appeared for two days only!

For two days only, on July 14 and 15, Ishitubute and Digda in Alola form appeared.

I was able to get both of them safely. DIGDA is cute, but ISHITSUBUTE looks a little shocking.

Will it return to its normal form after evolving?

I have never played "Pokémon Sun Moon. Since I have never played "Pokémon Sun and Moon," I did not know what they would look like if they evolved, so I tried to evolve them right away.

I tried to evolve Ishitsubute.

I was shocked at the appearance of Ishitsubute, but when I evolved it, it turned out to be even more shocking.

I evolved DIGDA!

All three of them have grown cute hair. It is also cute that each of them has a different hairstyle.

Are Alola Pokémon only in events?

Although there is no event announcement, Koratta in Alola form is now appearing in the wild.
You can get Pokémon in Alola form by using the "Friend" function, which has been implemented sequentially since June 22.
In rare cases, a 7-kilogram egg may appear from a "gift" sent by a friend.
When the 7-kilogram egg hatches, only Pokémon in Alola form will be born.

I hatched a 7-kilogram egg right away.

A Sand was born.
Unlike the Sand from the Kantou region, I was surprised that it was an Ice-type Pokémon.

I was surprised at its Alola appearance.

As I only know Pokémon from the Kantou region, I am always surprised when I encounter Pokémon in Alola form.
Of course, I will give priority to obtaining Pokémon that appear only for a limited time, and I will actively hatch Pokémon eggs to enjoy my Pokémon GO life even more.
