Arc System Works has revealed the game system of "Kill la Kill The Game - Ibufu" for PS4/PC (Steam), which will be released in 2019.

Kill la Kill The Game is a game adaptation of the popular anime "Kill la Kill" produced by Trigger, and while it follows the storyline of the anime, it is packed with elements that can only be enjoyed in a game!　In terms of graphics, the game uses the 3D cel-look that is Arc System Works' forte. In the battle scenes, players can enjoy the powerful action as if they were in the original story.

The game system of "Kill la Kill The Game" has been unveiled!　The game features an easy-to-use control system that allows players to perform a wide variety of actions, a fighting element that is sure to satisfy fans of fighting games, and the "Ketsuwai Iei Enzetsu" system, which faithfully recreates the battles of the original story.

What is "Kill la Kill"?
Kill la Kill" is an original TV animation produced by TRIGGER, the animation studio that employs Hiroyuki Imaishi of "Gurren Lagann" fame, and Kazuki Nakajima, who also worked on the series composition and script, working together again.
In pursuit of the mystery of her father's death, "The Woman with the Katatagibasami," a wandering high school girl named Ryuko Kama transfers to Honnoji Academy.
The school is ruled by the president of the student council, Satsuki Onryuin, who has the power and absolute terror of the school.
Satsuki says she knows "Katatagibasami".
Ryuko tries to ask Satsuki about it.
Is this encounter by chance or inevitable?
The upheaval at the school will soon involve everything!

3D battle-action game in which players run around a field and fight
The game is a 3D battle-action game in which players run around the field and fight using a variety of attacks such as dash and step. When characters are far from each other, they use long-range attacks and steps to keep in close contact, and when they are close, they use melee attacks and combos to reduce their opponent's health to zero.


There are no complicated commands! You can perform a variety of attacks by using the directional keys or by pressing buttons simultaneously!
There is only one melee attack button, but by pressing the button while pressing the directional keys up, down, or sideways, or by pressing the attack button while jumping or dashing, you can unleash attacks with different directions and ranges.


A simple, yet deeply readable battle system
The basic three strategies of [Strike], [Guard], and [Break Attack] are intertwined with the applied three strategies of [Evade] and [Evade Read Attack], allowing players to enjoy simple but deep tactics in battle.

Strike]: An attack with little skill. There are close-range and long-range attacks, and if blocked, no damage will be inflicted.

What is an evasive reading attack?
The range and direction of a melee attack changes depending on the directional key input and other factors. Depending on the direction of the attack, the player may evade by stepping or jumping. The term "evasive reading attack" is used to describe an attack that anticipates the opponent's evasive maneuver.

Vertical attacks can be avoided by stepping, but not by jumping. Conversely, horizontal attacks can be avoided by jumping, but not by stepping.

Giving a speech while fighting? 　 Unique system only available in this game, "Blood Wei Expression Enzetsu".
When a character's "Blood Weapon Burst," which can be performed by pressing the L1 + R1 buttons during battle, hits, the character's "Blood Weapon Statement Enzetsu" will be activated! The "Kokuwei Enzetsu" is a system that recreates in the game a scene often seen in the original anime, in which the players talk with their opponents while fighting, with each player choosing one of the three choices displayed on the screen. The activating side wins or wins out, and the "blood power level" increases. If the initiator wins the three-way contest, the process is repeated once more, up to a maximum of three times.


The power increases withthe increase in the blood power level!
When the Blood Weapon Level is raised by the "Blood Weapon Level", the character's basic performance increases and some special moves become super special moves, greatly increasing the character's power! There are three levels of Blood Wei Level, and at the maximum level, the player can use the one-hit kill [Sen-wei-sha-oku-i]. Once raised, the "blood power level" does not go down during the battle.
