Chio-chan's Way to School, Episode 5, "Thank You, George / Mananachio," Synopsis & Advance Cuts!

From the TV anime "Chio-chan's Way to School" currently airing, the synopsis of episode 5 and advance cuts have been released.

Chio-chan's Way to School" is a popular comic series by Naotaka Kawasaki serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper (published by KADOKAWA). It is a checkered extreme school commute comedy depicting various troubles that high school girl Chio Mitani Sousho experiences on her way to school, such as road construction, biker gangs, and sudden urination, etc. An anime adaptation was announced in July 2017.
The staff for the TV anime version includes director and series composition by Takayuki Inagaki of "Time Bokan 24" and "Aho Girl," and character design by Mayuko Matsumoto of "Fleet This," and "Gingitsune. Dio Media will be in charge of animation production.

Synopsis.

Episode 5 Part A "Thank you, George
One hot summer day. Chio-chan was attacked by a strong urge to urinate on her way to school. The cause was that she gulped down a cup of tea that she was going to drink at school. ...... She wandered around looking for a public restroom and fortunately succeeded in finding one! Chio-chan was so happy to find it, but there was one problem. Chio-chan was so happy to find a public restroom, but there was only one problem: it was a men's restroom. Chio-chan is determined, and her desperate escape plan begins. ......

Episode 5 Part B "Mananachio
Momo Shinozuka, a member of the public morals committee of the Samejima Gakuen student council, has a faint crush on Mr. Goto, who is in charge of policing tardiness. While making her rounds on her way to school to help her teacher, she finds the duo of Chio and Manana. Momo sees the two behaving in a way that makes it hard to believe they are friends, and she approaches them to find out why.


A review of episodes 1 through 3 will be broadcast live on Nico Nico Live from 9:00 p.m. on August 2 (Thu). A collaboration with "Machi★Asobi CAFE" started on July 28 (Sat) and will run until August 19 (Sat). At the collaboration café, there will be a collaboration drink with a limited coaster and an exhibition of production materials at Aru Aru City.

<Introduction
Sanchio Mitani, a first-year high school student at the ubiquitous "Samejima Gakuen" school, lives by the motto, "Underneath the middle. She tries to lead a low profile school life, but somehow various obstacles await her on her way to school.
Chio makes full use of the (useless) abilities she has developed through her daily life of playing Western video games, and she tries her best to get to school safely, involving her childhood friend Manana Nonomura, who is aiming to become an otaku, Yuki Hosokawa, the top-ranking member of the school caste, and other nameless people passing by on the street!
