OZAPYUA" released her solo debut single "LET'S GO JUMP☆"! Interview with Yuka Ozaki, who will appear on the August 2 broadcast of "Ani☆Ste!

Ani☆Ste," a ranking music program specializing in ani-songs, airs every Thursday from 10:00 p.m. on J-TV (J:COM TV) and other stations. Voice actress Yuka Ozaki will appear on the August 2, 2018 episode.

Her big break came when she played the role of Serval in the anime "Kemono Friends! In addition to performing as "Animal Biscuits," a unit born from this work, Ozaki is active in a variety of media, including voice acting, TV program appearances, and gravure.

On August 1, she will release her debut solo single "LET'S GO JUMP☆" and begin her music career in earnest. We asked the two, who just finished recording the program, about the highlights of the broadcast.

--Thank you very much for recording "Ani☆Ste! How do you feel after today's recording?

Yuka Ozaki (Ozaki) This is the first time I have had the pleasure of working with Daima-san and .......

--Daimaou-san (laughs).

Ozaki It's strange to call you "Daima-san" (laughs). (It was the first time for me to meet Daimao Kosaka and Ryoga, so I was nervous, but they welcomed me warmly and it was a lot of fun!

--Mr. Ozaki appeared in the "Box Question" corner, where he answered 10 difficult questions, and you answered them quite fluently.

Ozaki: I think I did pretty well! I wanted many people to see the music video, so I did my best! Note: In this corner, the length of the music video that is broadcast is increased by the number of questions answered.

--Do you usually do a lot of talking?

Ozaki: Usually, there is a big difference between talking and not talking. When I talk about what I like, I can't stop, but I also like to listen to others, so I am a listener except when I am talking about what I like.

Thanks to Mr. Kosaka, I was able to have a very enjoyable talk today.

--I think the theme of the talk was the anime "Kemono Friends".

Ozaki: I am happy to be asked about many things about "Kemono Friends" because it is my debut work as a 30-minute animator and one of my representative works.

Last year, I was involved in various activities through "Kemono Friends," so I like to talk about "Kemono Friends" in various places!

--What kind of people would you like to see at this year's "Ani-STE"?

Ozaki: I would like people who listen to ani-song a lot as well as people who don't listen to ani-song that much to watch the show.

--On August 1, your solo debut single "LET'S GO JUMP☆" was released. Could you tell us about this song?

Ozaki: "LET'S GO JUMP☆" is the OP theme of the anime "Shonen Ashibe GO! It is a very refreshing, pop and energetic song.

As the title of the song says, "LET'S GO JUMP☆," I jump a lot in the dance. So I hope this song will make you feel like jumping too.

--Did you feel nervous during the recording of your solo debut?

Ozaki: I was! (I had a sense of security (in the group songs) that everyone would sing along, but as a solo singer, I had to sing everything by myself, so I felt like I couldn't fake it (laughs).

I listened to the songs very carefully before recording, and at first it was difficult to get used to being in the recording booth. But the staff directed me carefully, and by the end I was having fun singing along with the cheerful song.

--In the "Box Question," you mentioned that you "move in time with the lines" during the recording.

Ozaki: I didn't move in an exaggerated way, but I did wave my hands and sway my body. I tend to move when I'm talking. I wonder if it's just a habit. ......?

--What is the story behind the making of the music video for "LET'S GO JUMP☆"?

Ozaki: We shot the music video in Okinawa, where there is a beautiful ocean. Unfortunately, it was raining on the day we shot the music video! There is a scene in the beginning of the music video where she sits on a chair and reaches out her hand, but we were actually filming in the rain while it was raining heavily (laughs).

(Laughs.) I also shot the scene where I am riding my bicycle after it rained. But I can't really ride a bicycle.

I tried riding a bike in elementary school, but I had no sense of balance at all, so I fell down. That's why I haven't ridden a bike since I was little. But the lyrics of "LET'S GO JUMP☆" include words related to bicycles, so I was asked if I would ride a bicycle in the music video. I can't ride it. ......" and I said ....... So when I arrived in Okinawa, a bicycle was prepared for me (laughs).

(Laughs.) He told me, "The staff will support you in the back, so you can try it. So I did, and before I knew it, I was finally able to ride by myself.

--In the music video, you can see him in his first cycling pose (laughs).

Ozaki That's right! I think it's quite precious (laughs).

--Mr. Ozaki, you have been active in a variety of activities, including the publication of your photo collection "Pia(u)a" in July this year. Please tell us what kind of activities you would like to pursue in the future.

Ozaki: Of course I want to be a voice actor, but in the future I would like to be more multifaceted, and I would like many people to know about voice acting as a profession. I would like to be an artist, and I also love photography, so I would like to work as a model for magazines. I also like movies, so I would like to appear in movies, and I would also like to appear in TV variety shows. I would like to be involved in a variety of activities.

--I would like to be involved in a variety of activities. In the "Box Question" corner, you mentioned Suzuko Mimori as someone you aspire to be like.

Ozaki: Mimori-san also dances and performs on stage, and I think she is a multi-talented person.

The presence of Ms. Mimori adds a lot of flair to the stage. Watching Mimori-san, I wanted to be like her. As an artist, she is cute, cool, and can sing. As a voice actor, she plays various roles, and I admire her.

--Do you think we might be able to see Mr. Ozaki active in various places in the future?

Ozaki: Maybe! I will do my best!

--I'll do my best! Thank you very much for your time today!
