The third season of the TV anime "To Aru Majutsu no Index," "To Aru Majutsu no Index III," will begin airing on October 5.

To Aru Majutsu no Index" is a light novel published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA ASCII Media Works) in 2004, and as of October 2017, the series has sold 16.35 million copies, making it a historical mega-hit, and in 2007, a comic book adaptation began. In 2008, the first TV anime adaptation was made, followed by the second TV anime season in 2010, and in 2013, it was screened as an animated film version, gaining popularity. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun" (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun), an offshoot of this work, has also been animated for two seasons of four TV anime seasons and an OVA volume, and has gained tremendous support from fans around the world.

<Introduction
A huge "school city" located in the western part of Tokyo.
The city has a total population of 2.3 million, about 80% of which are students. The city has a special curriculum for the development of ESP, and students' abilities are evaluated at six levels, from "no ability (level 0)" to "ESP (level 5)".
A high school student, Kamijo Toma, is one of the students living in the school city.
Because of the power in his right hand - the "Imagine Breaker," which cancels out even the blessings of God if it is a different power - he is on the verge of failing and is living a life of misery.
Kamijo's student life is drastically changed by a pure white sister who falls from the sky at the beginning of summer vacation.
Kamijo's life as a student changes drastically when he meets Index, a girl who has escaped from the world of magic, and gets involved in a variety of incidents. As he solves cases on both the "science" side, which controls the school city, and the "magic" side, which is linked to Index, he gradually expands his circle of friends. Finally, the magic side, the Roman Orthodox Church, the largest sect of the Cross, turns its attention to Kamijo's existence. ......
In response to the magic side, the science side, Academy City, also begins to move. However, there were those who stood up against the world that suddenly began to show signs of conflict.
Heroes" who changed their destiny drastically by getting involved with Kamijou.
They, too, put themselves on the line to confront the world. Just as Kamijo Touma had done.
When science and magic cross paths three times, the story begins to take off...!
