PS4's "Ryu ga Gotoku 3," which finally goes on sale this week, August 9, details the underground arena!

Sega Games has released additional information on the underground arena that will appear in "Yakuza 3" for PS4, scheduled for release on August 9 (Thursday).

The "Yakuza" series is an action adventure for "adults" that depicts various human dramas such as love, humanity, and betrayal in a fictional gigantic entertainment district. This time, the popular series, which was previously only available on PS3, has been made available on PS4 in response to fans' requests to play the game on PS4.

The PS4 version of the game offers higher quality and smoother gameplay (PS3 version: 720p/30fps → PS4 version: 1080p/60fps) and includes a product code for the "Yakuza 3" original soundtrack as a bonus. In addition, a product code for the "Yakuza 3 Original Soundtrack" is included as a bonus.

The game also includes a product code for the "Yakuza 3" Original Soundtrack, which allows players to enjoy the game to their heart's content (the same bonus is included in the downloadable version).

What is the "underground arena"?
The underground arena is located in the Sai no Kawara area, and you will be able to participate in the underground arena as you progress through the main story. In the underground arena, in addition to single matches in which players win tournament matches with various special rules, they can also challenge tag-team matches if they clear the conditions. Tag team battles can be participated in by scouting for partners who appear in town when the conditions are met. In tag team battles, special heat actions are prepared with partners, allowing players to enjoy battles that are different from regular battles and unique to the arena.

Street Fight GP

In the ring, there are bicycles, oil drums, and various other items that can be used as weapons, which can be freely used to fight.

Bounding GP
In the ring with strong ropes, fighters wear gloves specially made for the underground arena.

Heat GP
Fight on the heated floor. Since damage will be inflicted in areas where fire is present, it is necessary to consider where to fight while watching the timing.

A heat action in which a partner throws a flying kick at an enemy who is holding him down in a cross-legged chokehold.

The ultimate in "Linkage Drop
A heat action in which the partner grabs the enemy from the front and releases a flying kick toward the enemy. When the enemy is crushed by a power bomb, it stomps on his face. Naturally, the enemy also has its own tag-team heat action, so be sure to pay attention to that as well!
