BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE" is the latest title in the company's popular "BLAZBLUE" fighting game series. Major characters from "Persona 4 The ULTIMATE in MAYONAKA ARENA," "Under Night Inverse," and the 3DCG anime "RWBY" (?!?) will participate in this title. The main characters from "Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena," "Under Night in Verses," and the 3DCG anime "RWBY" (!?) will participate. The game allows players to enjoy dream tag-team battles that transcend the boundaries between works. The game is a "2-on-2" game in which two characters fight as a tag team. The game features a "Smart Combo" system that allows players to perform combos with a series of button presses, and "Partner Skill" and "Partner Combo" systems that allow players to control their partner to automatically attack in accordance with the character they are controlling.

The DLC characters scheduled for distribution tomorrow, August 7 (Tuesday), are Izayoi (BLAZBLUE), Mitsuru Kirijo (P4U), Merkava (UNI), Mai-Natsume (BLAZBLUE), Akihiko Sanada (P4U), Yuzuriha (UNI), Nine=The Phantom (BLAZBLUE), Labirith (P4U) and Mika (UNI). The DLC distribution brings the total number of characters in the game to 40. All characters will be eligible for future official tournaments.

From Japan to the World! ARCREVO WORLD TOUR" will be held!

ARCREVO WORLD TOUR", a worldwide fighting game tournament sponsored by Arc System Works, will be held.

The three titles selected will be "GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2", "BLAZBLUE CROSS TAG BATTLE", and "BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION".

Participating players will compete in qualifying tournaments in Japan, Europe, Asia, and the United States in preparation for the U.S. finals, ARCREVO America 2019, in the fall of 2019. Qualifying tournaments will be held in conjunction with major fighting game tournaments in each region beginning in October 2018, with the winner of each tournament earning a spot in the finals in the U.S. as well as travel and lodging expenses to the U.S.

The Japan domestic qualifier will be ARCREVO Japan 2018, which will be held at TOC Gotanda Messe on November 23 and 24, 2018. The current qualifying competitions are as follows
