Comments from the cast】 ※Titles omitted
Q1: How do you feel about being chosen for the role?
Q2: Please say something about the bookstore.

■Yufuko Sanpei as Kamibukuro
A1: I am so happy to be able to play a member of such a fun-loving bookstore.
I am now looking forward to our conversations in the backyard. The paper bag seems to be the weakest defensive covering.
A2: I love bookshelves filled with books and the smell of books, so just being in a bookstore is soothing.

Eri Kitamura as Houtai
A1: I have loved this work for a long time, and I am very honored to be able to play the role of the cheerful Houtai! I'm very honored to be playing the role of the cheerful Houtai-san!
A2: I personally love this work, and I have fond memories of when I was in elementary school and participated in a project at a bookstore to draw an illustration of my favorite work, and the winning work was displayed in a corner of the bookstore...

Kimiko Saito as Lantern
A1: I am very excited because it is a very interesting work.
I would like to play the role of Mr. Lantern with great care so that fans of the original work can also enjoy it.
A2: When I was in high school, I worked part-time as an inventory clerk at a privately owned bookstore.
I was surprised to see how many books were in the store, even though it seemed small!
I saw a halo shining on the owner who had a grasp of all those books.

Shizuka Ito as ■Okitsune
A1: I played the role of a senior student who is a little foul-mouthed, slow-paced, and has a rough personality, the type I like! I am very much looking forward to playing the role in a natural way.
A2: I get the urge to read regularly, so I go to bookstores and wander around to find new books. Then I get carried away and buy two hands full of books, which I always regret because they are so heavy.... Are you stupid...?
I went to the bookstore after reading the original story, but I thought about the hard work of the bookstore staff andfound myself thinking to myself to be careful not to tear up the shelves (lol).

Aya Endo as Ko Omote
A1: I was scared. Since I don't know her face, I couldn't imagine what her voice would sound like.
But I'm looking forward to the freedom I'll have because of that. I want to do my best not to lose out on the individuality of the face.
A2: In my dream, I have a favorite bookstore. I don't go there often, but it is the bookstore in my dream. I wonder if I have actually been there before.

Kazuomi Yamamoto as Rabbit Head
A1: When I read the original story, I thought the bookstore staff seemed to be very excited and interesting, so I am very much looking forward to working in this bookstore as Rabbit Head.
A2: In larger bookstores, I have the image of a fast-paced, clerical person, so it would be nice to have someone like a bookstore sommelier who can ask me about my current mood and genre, and then recommend books for me to read.

Hiroki Yasumoto as Full Face
A1: I was very happy. I like this kind of kind of mysterious worldview.
I would like to polish my mettle to a shine and take on the challenge.
A2: E-books are gaining momentum these days, but paper has its own advantages.
There is a "texture" that only paper media can produce. Let's stand firm together (laughs).

Wataru Hatano as Gas Mask
A1: I am happy to be able to play the role of Mr. Gas Mask because I think he is a character with his own world view! I would like to play the role as a team player while learning about the difficulties of working in a bookstore.
A2: I have loved bookstores since I was a child.
There were no bookstores in Asahi Village, Nagano Prefecture, where I was born and raised, so I would stop by the bookstore when I rode my bicycle to the next town. I feel at ease when I am surrounded by books.
Nowadays, e-books are convenient, but I also have a collection of paper books, especially of my favorite works.

■Toshiki Masuda as Welding Mask
A1: Welding Mask! One of the strongest late-workers in the lineup! Type B and an interesting person! It seems!
I don't know what kind of character he will be until it starts, but I am very happy! I will do my best!
A2: After reading the manga, I realized that bookstores have so many battles with bookstores. Thank you so much for putting the books I want on the shelves even though I don't always have the books I want. I'm sorry for buying all the paperbacks at once. !!!!!

Koutaro Nishiyama as Kendou
A1: My name is Kotaro Nishiyama, and I will be voicing Kendou. I have been hoping to be involved in this project since the audition, so I am very happy! I am looking forward to seeing what kind of Kendou-san I will meet in the future!
A2: When I go to a bookstore, I always look at the clerk's recommendation comments. They are handwritten and I can feel their passion for the book. The clerks who write these comments make me want to pick up the book, and it is because of them that I am able to make new encounters with books. I don't know who wrote the book, but I am quietly thankful in my heart.

■Akemi Okamura as Armor
A1: I thought Chief Armor had a lot of possibilities as a character because his face is completely unrecognizable in Western armor. I would be happy if I could get as close as possible to the real daily lives of the bookstore clerks.
A2: When I am looking for a book at a bookstore, I always ask the clerk. When I don't have a specific book in mind, I always read the POP. I always rely on them. Thank you, bookstore clerks!

Yoko Hikasa as Pest Mask
A1: Mr. Plague Mask is feared by everyone, so when I play him, I want to be able to throw not only strikes but also balls that go diagonally upward!
A2: It is a pity that the number of bookstores is decreasing these days, so I would be happy if this manga and the anime makes people want to go to bookstores.

<TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND

Please tell us how it felt to be chosen to sing the theme song.

Fujimuratoworu
I am surprised that TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND will be in charge of both the OP theme song and the ED theme song, following the accompaniment of the movie, and I feel not only surprised, but I also feel that my "body" as well as my "bones" are tightened. We are determined to take on this major role with all our hearts and souls, so please look forward to our work.

─ Please give us a few words about the bookstore.

Tomohisa Ishikawa
There is an old music store near St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. It is not a large shop, but the interior, which is typical of European architecture and the beautiful binding of sheet music, is a quiet and musical space that is enough to kill time there for a while.

Yohei Matsui

I worked in a bookstore for about seven years, and it is remarkable how high the hurdles customers set for booksellers. I am now using my boldness to answer questions about the contents of specialized books in technical terms....

<Hiroshi Takano

──How did you feel when you were chosen to sing the theme song?
This is actually the first time in my 30-year career that I have sung the theme song for an anime.
And the collaboration with Techno Boys is very fresh in both sound and melody.
I am looking forward to the on-air performance!

─ Please tell us something about bookstores.

Whenever I have time, I wander into bookstores. I have been doing so for a long time.
The most attractive thing about bookstores is that you can encounter unexpected books.
Whenever I find a store whose bookshelf selections match my taste, I immediately bookmark it on my mental map.
