The exhibition will be held from August 11, 2012! Report on "SHINGEKI NO KYOTSU THE ANIMATION GALLERY," an exhibition of original artwork full of valuable materials and projects!

The original art exhibition "SHINGEKI NO GIANT THE ANIMATION GALLERY" will finally start tomorrow, August 11, 2018, at Exhibition Hall A on the 4th floor of the World Import Mart Building in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro.

This exhibition will look back on the world of the hit anime "Shinkugeki no Kyojin," whose Season 3 began airing in July, with a large number of original drawings and valuable materials. In addition, there will be a variety of events for visitors to participate in, sales of commemorative products using original illustrations, and other topics that fans will find irresistible.

Akiba Research Institute went inside the preview of the event prior to its opening to the public! Here are some photos of the event.

Upon entering the venue, we were first greeted by life-size POP displays of the members of the Scout Regiment.

The venue is divided into seven sections, each with its own theme.

The main exhibit is a huge amount of original drawings. Visitors can view the impressive collection of original drawings to their heart's content. The detailed production instructions are also included, and visitors may find themselves thinking, "That scene was created with such and such an intention! You may even find yourself saying, "I didn't realize that scene was created with such an intention!

Equipment of the Scout Regiment, such as 3D Maneuver Gear and Snap Blades, are also on display. It is easy to imagine how they are fighting the Titans with these weapons. ......

There is also an exhibit where visitors can compare the completed animated film with the animated illustrations and storyboards. Visitors can glimpse the process of how the animation is completed.

Stage setting drawings, roughs of official illustrations, and illustrations submitted by fans are also on display. You can't help but take a look at them.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is the "Titanization Experience" corner, where a Titan of the visitor's face appears. Visitors stand in front of a camera for a few seconds, scan their faces, and a Titan with the same face appears on the spot. You can enjoy a video of the Titans walking around the city destroying it.

Editor A also had a chance to try out the Titan experience! You can make as many Titans appear as you like, so let's try to make the walls full of Titans!

There is also a photo spot where you can recreate the execution platform scene. In a sense, it's a great place to take Instagram-worthy photos. Why don't you act out the realistic execution scene here?

In addition, visitors can enjoy an audio guide with commentary by the cast for a fee, and there is also a "proof of collaboration" program that allows visitors to register their names in the staff roll that plays the ED theme "great escape" from the second half of the first season of the anime. The exhibition is a place where visitors can enjoy the "Giant of Progress" from various angles.

An exhibition in Osaka is scheduled to open on September 10.

Why not make this summer a memorable one?
