The main cast members Nozomu Sasaki, Shigeru Chiba, Emi Ogata, and Shuyuki Hiyama all took the stage at the "Yu Yu Hakusho" screening event!

The 25th Anniversary Blu-ray BOX series (4 volumes) of "YuYu Hakusho," celebrating the 25th anniversary of its TV anime adaptation, went on sale on July 27, 2018.
To commemorate the release of the first volume, "Reikai Tantei-hen," a screening event of the theatrical version of "YuYu Hakusho: Underworld Death Battle Arc, Bond of Fire" was held at Marunouchi Piccadilly on July 29, the first Blu-ray version to be released with HD telecine.
After the screening, the main cast members Nozomu Sasaki (Yusuke Urameshi), Shigeru Chiba (Kazuma Kuwabara), Emi Ogata (Kurama), and Shuyuki Hiyama (Tobikage) held a talk event.

The typhoon No. 12, which had been a cause for concern, passed through Tokyo, and by the afternoon of the day, the weather was clear and sunny. Many fans were anxiously waiting for the event to start even before the doors opened at Marunouchi Piccadilly, the venue for the event. A promotional poster signed by the cast was placed in front of the entrance to the venue, and many fans were taking pictures to commemorate the precious item.

The event, filled with such excitement, began with a screening of the theater version of "Yu Yu Hakusho: Death in the Underworld, Bond of Fire.
Some had been to the theater at the time of the screening, while others were watching the film for the first time. Everyone in the audience seemed to be reflecting on the joy of being able to watch the film in a theater in 2018.

When the screening was over, the audience applauded loudly, and the applause led the MC, Mr. Hiyama, who played the role of Tobikage, to appear on stage. Mr. Hiyama invited Mr. Sasaki, Mr. Chiba, and Mr. Ogata to join him on stage, and the cast talk finally began.

The four members first introduced themselves, and all four expressed their joy at being able to hold an event with all of these members together.

When Ogata-san looked back on how he was a rookie when the TV series was recorded, the audience, who did not know him back then, voiced their surprise.

The talk began with a look back at the time when the theater version of "Yu Yu Hakusho: Death in the Underworld, Bond of Fire" was screened 24 years ago, and all the cast members said they did not feel 24 years had passed. Mr. Sasaki said he still remembers how he felt standing in front of the microphone at the time, and he also shared a behind-the-scenes story about how he consciously changed his acting slightly from the TV series.

During the talk, vocalist Jill and bass player Mitsugu Watanabe from PERSONZ, who sang the theme song "sayonara ha nai sayonara" for the movie version, took the stage. JILL and WATANABE commented that they had rushed to the theater at JILL's request when they heard that the film would be screened in theaters again, and thanked the fans for their support.

In the second half of the talk session, the four cast members talked about themes based on a questionnaire that had been sent to them in advance.

The audience applauded and responded in the same way as the cast members when they heard the cast members express their hopes for a new series or an animated version of an episode that has not yet been made into an anime.

When asked about "memorable lines from the TV series," the cast members responded, "Oh, I'm so pissed. I'm so pissed off" (Sasaki), "Yukina-sa~~! (Chiba), "Hun," "tsk," "idiot" (Hiyama), and "I don't want any of the four of us to be left out" (Ogata).

The event also featured the first public viewing of advance cuts ( # ) of the completely new anime "TWO SHOTS" and "Noruka Soroka," both of which were recently featured on Akiba Research Institute. The new information continued to be announced, including the fastest screening of the new anime and the illustration of the first purchase bonus of "YuYu Hakusho" 25th Anniversary Blu-ray BOX [Senshui-hen], which will be released on September 26 (Wed.) and contains episodes 67 to 94 of the TV series. The audience was excited whenever new information was announced.

The event, which had been very exciting with the cast members talking for the first time in 24 years, was coming to an end when the four cast members gave passionate messages to the fans.

The event ended with a passionate message from the four cast members to the fans. We can't take our eyes off of it yet.
