In January 2012, "The New Prince of Tennis," a very popular series in "JUMP SQ." (Shueisha), was adapted into a TV anime. And from October 2014 to June 2015, all five volumes of "The New Prince of Tennis OVA vs Genius10" were released. Furthermore, at the "TENIPURI FESTA 2016 - Gassen" held in October 2016, the start of the "theater version project" by executive producer Tsuyoshi Kuhi was announced, and the series continues to attract an even wider range of fans.

Every February, many Valentine chocolates are given to the characters in "The Prince of Tennis" and "The New Prince of Tennis. The day was established by happy media creator and sometimes manga artist Tsuyoshi Xu as a day for the characters to give back the chocolates they received on August 14, six months after Valentine's Day.
