The release date for the theatrical compilation "The Era of 'Space Battleship Yamato': The Selection of the Year 2202 A.D." has been set for January 15, 2021 (Friday). In addition, information on the Blu-ray box containing the screenings of "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" and "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" and the CD "Symphonic Suite: Space Battleship Yamato 2202," which recompiles the BGM of "2202," has also arrived.

The "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" series, a remake of the immortal masterpiece "Space Battleship Yamato," was broadcast on TV on a nationwide network in 2013 and gained a huge following. The "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" series, a sequel inspired by "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love," which once caused a frenzy throughout Japan, was sequentially shown in theaters in seven chapters and broadcast on TV Tokyo from 2017.

Harutoshi Fukui, who worked on the series composition of "2202," has reconstructed both series from a new angle in the special compilation "The Era of 'Space Battleship Yamato': Selection in the Year 2202," which will be shown in theaters, in a special limited Blu-ray edition, on digital sale, and in other related information. In addition, a comment from Mr. Harutoshi Fukui will be delivered.

Symphony Suite Space Battleship Yamato 2202" CD to be released on January 15, 2021 (Friday)

Akira Miyagawa, who has been in charge of music for "2199" and "2202" and has created Yamato music for his father and son for two generations, reconstructed the BGM used in the film and released a new album as "Symphonic Suite" as a compilation of his past works!
The album is oriented toward "Symphonic Suite: Space Battleship Yamato," which was released in 1977 and created by his father, Yasushi Miyagawa, while also presenting the "Yamato sound" of 2025 with the studio musicians who have worked together on the BGM.
