The goal of the crowdfunding campaign is to realize the production of the third season of the anime! The crowdfunding campaign "Jyakami-chan Dropkick" started on September 30, 2020, with the grand goal of raising 20 million yen.

As of October 1, just one day after the opening, the amount of investment is already close to the 20 million yen goal. What is even more surprising is that the 1.1 million yen "3rd Term Title Naming Right" was SOLD OUT within seconds of the opening.

To answer this question, Akiba Research Institute contacted "Ko-chan," who was chosen to be the godfather of the third season title. We asked him to share his love for "Jyakami-chan" to the fullest!

─ ─ Thank you very much for taking the time to answer our sudden interview. Please begin by introducing yourself.

Ko-chan I run a humble IT company in Osaka called "Brain Direction Inc. I am often called by my first name, so I call myself "Ko-chan.

───How did you come to know about "Jyakami-chan Dropkick"?

Ko-chan Actually, I learned about "Jyakami-chan" only recently. When I was unable to go out due to the new coronavirus, I was teleworking while playing AT-X. At that time, I saw the second season of the anime and thought, "This is so interesting! I watched the first anime season in one sitting and also bought all the original comics. I also bought all the original comic books, and by buying the goods, I became a member of the Evil Gods.

What do you like about "Evil God Girl"?

Ko-chan: The lovable and annoying Evil God-chan, the scenes where Yurine and Evil God-chan play (kill each other), and the unique friends around them. I also like the parodies woven throughout the anime. To put it simply, I like them all.

─ Which character is your favorite?

Ko-chan: Pekora. I especially like Pekora when she is being teased by Evil God-chan.

───What made you decide to buy the naming rights? And what kind of title are you planning to use?

Ko-chan I had been supporting the project mainly by buying goods, but when I saw the crowdfunding story on Twitter, I thought it would be great if I could be of further help, so I half-heartedly pledged the naming rights. There were probably other competitors besides me, but I guess I was lucky enough to win the click battle. At any rate, I was so eager to support the project that I didn't think about the title yet (lol).
