Natsuki Hanae and Suzuko Mimori appear as CG characters in the new "Akai Kitsune Midori no Tanuki" commercial!

Natsuki Hanae and Suzuko Mimori will voice the CG characters in the new commercial "Tempura Tsuki Arc" for "Akai Kitsune Midori no Tanuki," which will air nationwide from October 5, 2020 (Monday).

In the new commercial "Tempura Tsuki Arc," Tetsuya Takeda, the general of the Red Fox Army, and Gaku Hamada, the general of the Green Tanuki Army, appear as full CG (cinematic CG) characters. Mr. Hamada gazes at the moon from the keep of the Green Tanuki Castle...upon closer inspection, the moon he was gazing at has turned into tempura, and he transforms from a kimono into a suit of armor as he boldly eats the green tanuki with the tempura moon in the background.

On the other hand, Mr. Takeda, looking at the moon from the red fox castle, smiles with a relaxed smile and puts the red fox on top of the tempura moon, making it shine like the sun. After eating the red kitsune, Mr. Takeda also transforms from his kimono into an armored costume, representing the beginning of the third year of the Red-Green Battle.

■Natsuki Hanae is the chief strategist and Suzuko Mimori the music no!
This is the first full CG commercial for Akai Kitsune, which celebrates its 42nd anniversary this year since its launch in 1978, and features popular voice actor Natsuki Hanae as the chief strategist for Mr. Takeda, the general of the red fox army. Suzuko Mimori plays the role of Kuno, who serves Mr. Hamada, the general of the Green Tanuki Army.

The music for the commercial is "evergreen," written for this commercial by the rock band "MAN WITH A MISSION," which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. The title "evergreen," meaning "will never fade" or "will never decay," expresses the unchanging presence of the green tanuki, which celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The deciding factors were the strong impression created by the entry of the "wolf" into the battle of fox vs. tanuki, and the fast-moving musicality that matches the worldview of the red-green battle. The combination of the familiar fox and tanuki with the wolf will make the battle in the third year even more exciting.

I usually eat it and I am a red fox person, so it was perfect for me (laughs). I felt that the attempt to do a full CG TV commercial under these circumstances was fresh. I felt it was a fresh attempt to do a full CG TV commercial under these circumstances. I am looking forward to seeing the TV commercial when it airs!
The role of Tsubakimaru is that of a beautiful boy in the image of Ranmaru Mori, who looks cool at first glance but also has a bit of a ditsy side to him. I found the gap interesting and took care in my acting. During recording, I was thinking of the face of Mr. Takeda, my general (laughs), as I played the role.

I was so happy to be able to participate in the commercial for the red fox and the green tanuki that everyone knows, Actually...I have always been a red fox person...sorry, my lord. LOL
I'm sorry.

It's that time of year again! and it has become an annual event, hasn't it? This year is also the 40th anniversary of Midori-no-Tanuki, so I would like to give it a flower, but I will win again this year for the third time.
Also, I have been working as a commercial character for 42 years, but this is my first time to try my hand at CG animation. In the past, I went to the U.S. to do a large-scale shoot using tanks, but this was a new challenge unique to these times, and it was very fresh.

We have lost two consecutive Green Tanuki, but this is the third time! So, I really hope to win the Red-Green battle this year.
I heard that the original music for this commercial is titled "evergreen," so we are fully prepared to back up Green! We will win this year!
It was difficult to shoot the recording because we were still in the stage where the video was not completely finished, but when I saw the finished commercial, I was surprised at the high level of perfection.
I was surprised at the quality of the finished product when I saw the commercial.
