The first episode "Slimes and Ryoma" of the TV anime "The Man Picked Up by the Gods," which will start airing on October 4, 2020, at 23:30, has been released with an advance cut.

The story is based on the popular novel "Kamitachi ga Pickup by the Gods" (written by Roy, original character design by Ririnra), which has achieved a total of 250 million PV on "Shosetsu-ka Naro", one of Japan's largest novel submission sites, and has sold over 1 million copies in total.

The main character is Ryoma Takebayashi, a 39-year-old single salaryman working as a system engineer for a black company. Ryoma meets an untimely end in his apartment alone. He was called to the heavenly realm, but the God of Creation, the Goddess of Love, and the God of Life asked him to cooperate with them, and he was reborn in another world in the form of a child. The 8-year-old Ryoma begins to live a carefree life alone in the deep forest, enjoying his new life while immersing himself in the study of slimes. Surrounded by kind people, Ryoma enjoys every day of his life in this slow-life fantasy.

Ryoma Takebayashi, who works for a black company, dies prematurely at the age of 39. However, he receives the blessings of three gods in the heavenly realm and is reborn in the body of a boy in another world. Ryoma finds himself living in a forest, where he becomes absorbed in slime research and before he knows it, he is living with more than 1,000 slimes. One day, he meets Duke Reinhardt and his guards in the forest and notices that one of them is badly injured.
