Ghost of Tsushima" Update Ver. 1.1 Introduction Trailer

Online cooperative multiplayer mode "Legends
The online cooperative multiplayer mode "Legends" is completely different from the story of Jin Sakai and his friends in "Ghost of Tsushima," as it depicts the battles of the "four underworlders" who appear in legends passed down from generation to generation among the people of Tsushima. In a change from the beautiful open world of Tsushima, players can enjoy cooperative play and battle action in a world of mystery and fantasy inspired by old Japanese folk tales and legends.

Legends/Meijin Kitan" features a two-player story mission, "Kitan," and a four-player survival mission, "Nine Deaths. In addition, the raid mission "The Great Disaster" will be available at a later date.

<Role
There are four different "roles" (character types) in "Legends/Meijin Kitan," and each role has its own special skills and secrets.
In addition to the special skills that are available from the start, new skills become available as the character gains strength. In addition, there are talismans and props that only certain roles can use.

Samurai
Samurai are responsible for fighting head-on and defending their position. While maintaining their physical strength, they slice through enemies at close range. If the enemy is outnumbered, they can use the "Hachiman's Wrath" to deliver a series of lightning-fast blows with the blessing of Hachiman to cut down their enemies.

Yumitori
The kyutori is a role to help allies and shoot through enemies from a long distance. He can stop the enemy's momentum with a bursting arrow, or, in the midst of a melee, he can use the "Eye of Naitsune" technique to fire a rapid succession of arrows and pierce the enemy's head.

The Prisoner
The Prisoner can revive all of his fallen comrades with "Iyanami's Breath". He can also summon a dog god of ceremony to join him in battle (* Of course, the dog god of ceremony can be petted).

Assassins
The assassin can unleash a powerful blow that inflicts heavy damage on the enemy. The "dark raven" can move quickly without being noticed by the enemy, and can strike at the enemy's falsehood.

Game Modes
Kitan" (story mission)
In the two-player story mission "Kitan," players will experience the story of "the true events that took place in Tsushima," as told by a storyteller. If you can unlock the higher difficulty levels, you will encounter new and more formidable enemies, receive bonus objectives, and earn valuable rewards.

The "Nine Deaths" (Survival Mission)
In "Nine Deaths," players form teams of four and defend key locations around Tsushima while fighting off the onrushing enemy forces. Players fight with the help of "blessings" that can be used to set nearby enemies ablaze or summon bear shikigami. The longer they survive and the more bonus objectives they complete, the more rewards they receive.

The Great Disaster (Raid Mission)
In order to reach the depths of the disaster that has befallen Tsushima, four teams of four must plunge into the land ruled by Prajna, armed with the skills they have developed and collected in "Kitan" and "Nine Deaths". The "Great Peril" is the most difficult mission, consisting of three acts, and requires the players to work together with their comrades to conquer it. The "Great Disaster" will be released a few weeks after the release of "Legends/Meijin Kitan".

Other Features
Legends/Meijin Kitan" offers many trinkets, and the more difficult missions you complete, the rarer and more powerful they become (all trinkets can be obtained through gameplay, and there is no charge for them).

As the player gains experience in each role, he or she can learn new skills. New trophies have also been added for "Legends/Meijin Kitan". The photo mode, which was well received in the main game, is also available in "Legends/Meijin Kitan. Take pictures with the masks, costumes, and emotes you've acquired to commemorate the event.

Additional elements in the single-player game (main story)
In response to player feedback, a number of additional elements have been added to the existing single-player mode.

Second Lap (New Game Plus)

The "Second Lap" allows players who have already completed the main "Ghost of Tsushima" game to play the main quest "Ninomichi" one more time. In the "Second Round," you will start with all the skills, weapons, and equipment you acquired when you cleared the game the first time, and the difficulty level will increase (the difficulty setting can be changed).

In the "second round," special horses with fiery red manes and special saddles become available, and the performance of swords, bows, and armor can be further enhanced. In addition, there are new protective charms with extremely powerful effects that will allow the user to deliver special blows and fight in a different style than before.

In addition, a new "merchant of phantom flowers" has been introduced. In exchange for new flowers called "phantom flowers," which appear only in the "second round" of the game, you can dye your costumes with new colors and obtain special costumes for the "second round" of the game. New charms can also be purchased from the "phantom flower merchant.
In addition, a new trophy has been added exclusively for the "second round" of play.

Ver. 1.1 also adds various other features that can be used in the first round of gameplay. This feature allows users to register which protection and other items are used with each outfit and armor, and easily switch between them according to their play style and role-playing preferences.
In addition, when loading a saved game, the total play time to date is now displayed. In addition, new elements have been added to the photo mode.

Please enjoy the fascinating world of "GhostofTsushima," which will be further expanded with the update Ver. 1.1 scheduled for delivery on October 17 (Sat.).

<What is "Ghost of Tsushima"?
The game follows Jin Sakai, a samurai who has strayed from the path of the samurai, as he becomes a "Kurodo," a warrior resurrected from the underworld to free Tsushima from the clutches of its enemies. An open-world historical drama action adventure set in Japan, attracting worldwide attention.

In the late 13th century, the Mongolian Empire (Daewon) was seeking to conquer the eastern world and was laying waste to all nations that stood in its way. The Yuan army was assembled to invade Japan in the far east, and was led by Kotun Khan, a ruthless and cunning warlord. Khan landed on Tsushima Island as a foothold for his invasion. The warriors of Tsushima, who had assembled to prevent the invasion, were destroyed in the first battle by the Yuan forces' tactics, which they had never seen before. The island was soon engulfed in the flames of the invasion. However, there was one samurai who barely survived.

Jin Sakai.

As the last survivor of the Sakai family, Jin is determined to protect the people of Tsushima, even if it means engaging in warfare contrary to the way of the samurai. As a "Kurodo," a person resurrected from the underworld, he will use every means at his disposal to reclaim his homeland from the hands of the enemy.
