Biographical Action "Spriggan" to be Animated on Netflix! Teaser art and staff information is now available!

Spriggan" (original story by Takashi Gehiro and illustrations by Ryoji Minagawa), a super action comic series that took the world by storm in the 1990s, will be launched as a Netflix original anime series.

The teaser art of "Sprigun"'s main character, Masaru Mikami, holding a gun and turning around has been unveiled. The main staff of "Spriggan" includes director Hiroshi Kobayashi, series composition and screenplay by Koji Seko, and character design by Shuhei Handa, all leading creators in Japan.

■High-speed battle action over super-ancient ruins begins!
Once upon a time, there existed a superior civilization on this earth. The legacy of these super-ancient people, who possessed knowledge and scientific power that is unmatched by the modern world, is said to still be lying dormant in various parts of the world, unexplored.
Now that high-speed communication networks cover the world and satellite lenses are revealing all the secrets, the militaries of major powers have intervened to discover and study this heritage of mysterious "power" and have begun a battle for it.
In the midst of all this, there is an organization that sincerely accepts the message "Protect our heritage from the evil one" written on a plate by someone from a super-ancient civilization, and works to seal off the super-ancient civilization. The organization's special agents were called "spriggans.

This is a vivid adaptation of the legendary comic that dominated the 90's, using both 2D and 3D computer graphics. 30 years have passed, and the new film is an adventure action adventure filled with extreme action and ancient romance!
