Buffalo, in cooperation with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), announced the release of "nasne" in the spring of 2021.

Launched by SEE in 2012, "nasne" is a network recorder and media storage device with a hard disk drive and terrestrial digital/satellite digital (BS/110 degree CS digital) tuner. While supported by many users, it was discontinued in 2019. Currently, the "torne" TV application service continues and many users continue to use it.

Buffalo, which has been involved in the development of networking products such as wireless LAN and NAS as a manufacturer of peripherals for digital home appliances, has decided to use its knowledge and experience to take over "nasne" with the cooperation of SIE. Buffalo has developed "nasne" with the cooperation of SIE.

Buffalo will create new digital solutions through "nasne" and provide the joy of storing and playing back digital data more safely and comfortably.

What is "nasne" network recorder and media storage?
nasne" allows users to watch and record terrestrial digital and satellite digital (BS/110-degree CS digital) TV programs using the dedicated "torne" application by connecting the main unit to the home network.
In addition, users of compatible devices such as PS4, smartphones, and tablets can enjoy broadcast and recorded programs through "nasne".
