About Lake Sagami Illumination
The "Three Greatest Illuminations in the Kanto Region" that can be enjoyed about an hour from central Tokyo
Lake Sagamiami Illumination is a winter event at the outdoor resort facility "Lake Sagami Resort Pleasure Forest" (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture). Although only about an hour from central Tokyo, this illumination uses 6 million bulbs, one of the largest in the Kanto region, and takes advantage of the unparalleled difference in elevation of the slopes to create a fantastic spectacle that is in harmony with nature.
The illumination has evolved year by year through the introduction of the latest technology and area renewal, and in 2018 was recognized as one of the "Three Greatest Illuminations in Kanto" by approximately 5,500 night view appreciators nationwide.
Experience "illumination" from the sky
In the 40,000㎡ illumination area consisting of about 10 different areas, an overwhelmingly large illumination of 6 million bulbs is colorfully and fantastically illuminated in different colors for each area.
In addition, the "Rainbow Lift," a 250-meter-long lift ride that takes visitors on an aerial walk above the illumination area, and the "Illumination from the Sky," which rises 370 meters above sea level, offer a full range of "illumination from the sky" that only an outdoor resort rich in ups and downs can offer.

■Sealing measures
・Indoor facilities (restaurants and stores) are adequately ventilated by opening doors, etc.
・When there are many visitors, we will set restrictions on the use of each area, and may also set admission restrictions for the entire park.
■Crowding measures
We have installed signs to encourage visitors to space out waiting lines, seats, and benches.
We will make every effort to prevent people from crowding together in one place, such as by distributing photo spots and using a numbered ticket system for events.
■Countermeasures against crowding
At the entrance to the park: Temperature checks are conducted; visitors with a fever of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher will be asked to refrain from entering the park.
Before entering the park, visitors are required to disinfect their hands with alcohol and wear a mask.
