Racing on a broomstick! VR game "Little Witch Academia VR: Wish Upon a Broomstick" is now available!

The new VR game "Little Witch Academia VR: When You Wish Upon a Houki Hoshi" was released today, October 13, for Oculus Quest/Quest 2. This title is being distributed as a launch title for the new Oculus Quest 2 VR bed set, which was released on the same day.

The anime "Little Witch Academia" produced by TRIGGER is a coming-of-age anime in which the main character "Akko" enrolls in a magic school and faces various ordeals while repeatedly making mistakes and growing up with her friends.

This VR game uses UNIVRS' original "anti-sickness technology" (patent pending). By reducing to the utmost limit the "VR sickness" that has limited players' movements in conventional VR games, players can enjoy the "best flight experience The player can enjoy "the best flying experience" by flying freely with the character on a broomstick and using magic to race.

Players will become a trial student at Luna Nova School of Magic, teaming up with Akko and other characters from "Little Witch Academia" to take on a variety of missions.

In addition to "races," there is also a "ghost hunt" in which players work with a partner to purify ghosts. Points and tickets earned from races and hunts can be used to collect items and customize your own broomstick. The game also features a fully-voiced story before and after each mission, allowing players to enjoy an unprecedented flying experience made possible by VR technology.

The "Free Flight Mode," which allows players to fly freely through the stage with other players online, is scheduled to be implemented in the November update.

In addition, a series of videos featuring cast members and artists are also being distributed.
