The Dream Charity Battle 2020, a dream game matchup between top-notch athletes, will be broadcast on video!

The Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) started a social networking video "Dream Charity Battle 2020" on October 10, 2010, in which athletes compete against each other using "Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games The Official Video Game".

A total of 20 athletes, including current top athletes, legendary Olympians who have won medals in past Olympic Games, and up-and-coming music artists, will participate in this project. The event featured an evening-only game battle using the official Tokyo 2020 games. In between the game battles, the program consisted of messages from current top athletes and their aspirations for the coming year.
The event was based on an idea proposed by the JOC Athletes Committee at an athletes' meeting for athletes aiming for the Tokyo 2020 Games, as one of the things athletes can do for the people of Japan who support them. A charity announcement is also being made to support athletes who are training in a limited environment due to the effects of the Corona disaster.
