Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, Tadashi Matsuoka, and LiSA took the stage! Report on the Tokyo Skytree(R) Lighting Event to Commemorate the Release of "Blade of Demons: The Movie" Infinity Train Arc," in which the Skytree was dyed in the color of flames.

The "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train" will be released in theaters nationwide on October 16, 2020 (Friday). To celebrate its release, a lighting event for the Tokyo Sky Tree was held on October 11, 2020 at the Dome Garden on the 8th floor of TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN(R).

The "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train" is a continuation of the globally popular TV anime "Demon Slayer," which aired in 2019. The story spins the exploits and thoughts of Sumijiro and his fellow members of the Onikagetai and one of the pillars of the Onikagetai, Renggoku Kyoujuro, with powerful images and music.

Amidst the heightened anticipation of the film's release, the lighting event was attended by Natsuki Hanae (playing Tanjiro Kamado), Akari Kito (playing Nezuko Kamado), Hiro Shimono (playing Zenitsu Agatsuma), Sadajo Matsuoka (playing Inosuke Hashibira), and LiSA (artist in charge of the theme song) took the stage. The flame-colored lighting was inspired by the "flames" of the breath and sword of Anjuro Purgatory, an important character in the film, and the theme song of the theater version, "Flames," sung by LiSA.

Prior to the lighting, a talk by the cast and LiSA was held first. When asked about the siblings Sumijiro and Nezuko, who are the main attraction of the film, Hanae-san answered, "Sumijiro's (charm) is his kind heart. He has a beautiful heart and a serious, straight, unbreakable heart, which I respect," said Hanae. As for the points he is conscious of in playing Sumijiro, he mentioned his heart and thoughts, saying, "I want to turn Priestess back to human, and I don't want to bend on my part to defeat the demons for the sake of my family.

Akari Kito

Ms. Kito, who plays the role of Priestess Nezumiko, also commented that the appeal of the story lies in the fact that the siblings care about each other. She also said, "I think that is why Sumijiro can do his best because of Priestess, and Priestess can continue to fight together with Sumijiro even though he is a demon, because he is a kind older brother. Priestess also has to wear a mouth shackle in many scenes where she is unable to speak, but like Hanae, she says that she tries not to forget her love for her brother (Sumijiro) in her performance.

Sadayuki Matsuoka

One of the charms of Zenitsu and Inosuke, who fight together as comrades in the Onikagitai, is the fun banter between them and Sumijiro. When asked what he strongly felt was attractive about Inosuke through the TV anime, Mr. Matsuoka replied, "I guess it's his 'inosho' spirit. In response, Mr. Shimono agreed with him, saying with a laugh, "Zenitsu is always rushing headlong into things.

Hanae-san also chose his words carefully, saying, "It's not just serious, but Sumijiro has met two friends and companions (Zenitsu and Inosuke), and they have become lively, noisy, or boisterous (......). He was happy to see the new atmosphere. At the same time, he emphasized that the gap between the coolness and the attractiveness of the battle scenes is also appealing. Their teamwork is one of the highlights of the movie version.

LiSA

LiSA commented on the performances of the cast members, "I thought the story was fascinating to begin with, but now that it has been made into a TV anime and the voices have been added, I feel that it has become a work that conveys the charm of the characters in a way that words (text) and pictures do not. Specifically, he felt that the TV anime's three-dimensional depiction of "breathing" gave the work a new appeal.

From here, they talked further about the upcoming theater version of "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinite Train Arc. Hanae commented on the trailer that has been released in advance, saying, "The images and music are really great, and I can't wait to see it in the theater, so I'm really looking forward to it. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

Hanae spoke of the scientific reaction among the actors during the post recording, "When one of us got serious, we were determined to act and shout with a vigor that would surpass that of the other. I was so fired up at the time that I thought it would be the end of my voice acting career," said Matsuoka! I don't know! I don't know! Mr. Shimono, who had been putting his heart and soul into the TV series, was surprised to hear that "the movie version was 'even more' intense.

On the other hand, from a different perspective, Kito-san said, "It had been a long time since we all gathered together for postrecording, so that was the first thing that made me happy," and he put a smile on his face. He said that he felt relatively lighthearted before the recording began, but once the recording actually started, everyone got into their roles, and he was happy to be back to his usual mood right away.

Hanae commented, "He is really cool because he depicts what a pillar is, what the Onikagurei is, and his strength of will as a human being. Every word he says is very convincing, so I said to him, "Brother, I'm going to follow you! I'll follow you! Hanae said enthusiastically.

LiSA spoke about the creation of the theme song "Flame," which is reminiscent of Mr. Purgatory, saying, "I myself really liked the 'Infinite Train Arc' in the original story, so I was very enthusiastic about it and so was Yuki Kajiura (who composed the music), and we were able to write the lyrics. He also revealed that he created the music while keeping in mind "the use of easy-to-understand language that conveys the message directly and uses language that allows the audience to be fully immersed in the work, so that they can return home with the work in a certain sense.

When Mr. Shimono said that his impression of "Flame (Homura)" was that "just playing it in the trailer creates great emotion," LiSA, who was listening next to him, looked very happy.

Following the various topics of conversation, the lighting ceremony of the Tokyo Sky Tree was finally held. Before the ceremony, Sumijiro, Priestess, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, who had come to support the event, appeared on stage. Everyone was excited to see the characters as they were, with Sumijiro patting Priestess on the head, Zenitsu looking at Priestess, and Inosuke looking warm and fuzzy.

The Tokyo Skytree, towering in the background, lit up in the color of flames as the characters watched over them and counted down. The crowd went "wow! It's beautiful! "You don't see the red Sky Tree very often, do you? LiSA was deeply moved by the lighting of the tree with her own music playing in the background, saying, "This is the first time in my life.

Lastly, Ms. Hanae told everyone who was looking forward to seeing the movie, "I never thought I would be able to see my favorite episode of the original work, the 'Infinity Train Arc,' in a movie theater, so I am really excited about it. I think the strength of human feelings is the theme of the "Mugen Train Arc," and I hope that the audience will feel the "power spun by human feelings" as the Oni-killing Squad works together to defeat the demons in the theater, and that everyone will think of their loved ones and families at that time. I hope that everyone will be excited about it, thinking of their loved ones and family members. I am sure you will not be disappointed! The lighting ceremony ended with a strong message to the audience.

The special lighting commemorating the release of "Demon Slayer: Infinity Train" will be turned on from 17:45 to 24:00 on Friday, October 16, from 17:45 to 22:00 on Saturday, October 17, and from 17:45 to 22:00 on Sunday, October 18.

In addition, a photo spot with autographs of the "Demon Slayer" cast members, including Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, and Sadayoshi Matsuoka, will be displayed on the Tokyo Skytree TEMBO DECK for a limited time. The exhibition will run from October 12 (Mon.) to December 22 (Tue.), 2020, so why not visit the exhibition in conjunction with the movie?
