LiSA's new album "LEO-NiNE" and new single "Flame," both released on October 14, became the first weekly double No. 1 hit in 2025!

On Wednesday, October 14, LiSA released her new album "LEO-NiNE" and new single "Flame" simultaneously. This was the first time LiSA's album and single reached No. 1 on the weekly chart.

LiSA made her first appearance on the "70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen" on New Year's Eve 2019 with "Kourenka", the opening theme song for the TV anime "Demon Slayer". More than a year after its release, the single has not lost its momentum and has sold more than 190,000 copies and achieved a million downloads for distribution. It has also been ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Anime Chart "Japan Hot Animation" for 16 consecutive weeks. It became the last song of the 2010s and the first song of the 2020s to represent the anime song scene.

Following "Kourenka," LiSA's latest song "Homura" (flame), the theme song for "Demon Slayer: Infinity Train Arc" is another "Demon Slayer" tie-in. Streaming distribution of the song has begun, and it has achieved 55 crowns at download and streaming stores, surpassing "Kourenka".

The song is also gaining popularity in overseas distribution. Flame" topped the Hong Kong local DSP "KKBOX" J-POP new song chart and Macau's iTunes overall chart. On the Hong Kong iTunes chart, "Flame" ranked No. 1 for singles, and "Flame" and "LEO-NiNE" ranked No. 1 and No. 2 for albums, and "Flame" and "LEO-NiNE" ranked No. 1 and No. 2 on the Taiwan iTunes chart.

The simultaneous No. 1 ranking of "Flame" and "LEO-NiNE" on the Oricon Weekly Single and Album Charts is the 10th time for a female artist to reach No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Single and Album Charts, the first time in 16.5 years and the first time for a Japanese artist to do so in 2025. In the nine years since her solo debut, this is the second album since her best album to reach No. 1 on the weekly ranking, and the first time for a single to reach No. 1 on the weekly ranking. It was a long-cherished achievement and a record that will remain in LiSA's history.

The movie version of "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train will open in theaters on October 16 (Fri.). Please come to the theater and enjoy the powerful images, the story, and LiSA's music.
