The first three-day box-office results and audience survey results for the "Blade of Demon's Destruction: Infinity Train Arc" are now available!

The first three-day attendance figures, box office revenues, and first-day survey results have arrived for the "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinite Train Arc," which began screening on Friday, October 16.

The TV anime "Demon Slayer" began broadcasting in 2019. In the final episode aired in the same year, the story of "Tanjiro Kamado Tatsushi Hen" ended with a scene in which the main character Tanjiro Kamado and his friends boarded the "Mugen Train".


The "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train Arc, which depicts a new mission for Tanjiro and his friends on the "Infinity Train," will open in theaters nationwide on Friday, October 16, and a stage greeting featuring the director, cast, and theme song artist will be held on Saturday, October 17 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills. The greeting was broadcast live to 206 movie theaters nationwide.

The following is a report on the box office results from October 16 to 18. The box office performance on October 16 (Fri.) ranked first in the history of box office revenue and attendance for films released in Japan on weekdays, and on October 17 (Sat.) and 18 (Sun.), it ranked first in the history of box office revenue and attendance for films released in Japan on Saturdays and Sundays as well.

 Attendance: 910,507; Box office revenue: 1,268,724,700 yen
October 17 (Saturday)
 Attendance: 1,270,234; Box Office Sales: 1,701,723,350 yen
October 18 (Sun.)
 Attendance: 1,239,752; Box Office Sales: 1,652,669,400 yen


The three-day results from October 16 (Fri.) to 18 (Sun.) showed attendance exceeding 3.42 million and box-office revenue exceeding 4.6 billion yen.

Screening: 403 theaters nationwide (including IMAX 38)
Results: Total: 3,420,493 people 4,623,117,450 yen


According to the first day web-based questionnaire using PCs and cell phones, 84.6% of respondents were "very satisfied" and 13.8% "satisfied" with the movie. The combined total of 98.4% indicates a very high level of satisfaction.

Those who have not yet seen "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train" should definitely watch it.
