ANIPLEX+ will release a 1/8th scale figure of Anjuro Purgatory, depicted in the teaser visual for the movie version of "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train Arc, in August 2021, and is now available for pre-order. The price is 15,000 yen (tax included).

The TV anime "Demon Slayer," which aired its first and second seasons in 2019, is based on the manga of the same name by Yoseharu Goge. The TV anime was a huge hit, and the long-awaited "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train" was released on Friday, October 16, 2020.

With both feet planted on the ground, the pillar of flame standing on the burning cobblestone pavement, Purgatory Kyoujuro, has been sculpted with great care.

The contrast between his haori and hair, which have been lifted up by the flames, and his body, which is firmly planted on the ground, has been incorporated into the figure.

The flames emanating from the surface of the figure are made of clear parts, and the beautiful gradation of the flames brings to mind the heat of a raging fire.

As with the previous ANIPLEX+ Limited 1/8th scale figures, the detailed construction and careful coloring are a must-see.
The figure is a supreme gem, and despite its 1/8 scale, it is clad in an overwhelming presence.
