ClariS, celebrating its 10th anniversary, reveals its true face, shrouded in mystery, and enters a new stage!

ClariS, the No. 1 anime song duo, celebrated the 10th anniversary of their major label debut on October 20, 2020, held their first live distribution concert, and today, October 21, 2020, released two best-selling albums simultaneously.

ClariS is an idol unit consisting of Clara and Karen, who made their major debut together in 2010 as a junior high school unit. After performing theme songs for "Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai" and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," Alice graduated from the unit in 2014. In the same year, Karen joined the group and they are now performing as the new "ClariS.
The two have never shown their true faces in public, such as wearing masks during live performances, but their one-man live performance at the Pacifico Yokohama National Grand Hall in September 2017 attracted a great deal of attention, as they removed their masks during the storyline.

Since their debut on October 20, 2010, ClariS, the No.1 duo in the anisong world, has released tie-up songs for popular anime works such as "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" and "Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai", and on October 20, they will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their major debut by holding their first live performance for distribution. They also released two best-selling albums simultaneously on October 21, 2020.

The setlist consisted of songs from the best album, including "Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai" and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" mentioned above, as well as theme songs from TV anime such as "Hataraku Cycle" and "Nisemonogatari," and the audience could enjoy ClariS' 10-year history as much as they wanted. ClariS has been illustrating since their debut.

Since their debut, ClariS has been active with illustrations as their main visual, and has been attracting attention as a "female duo shrouded in mystery," but they finally revealed their true faces to the media at their first live performance.
During the live, the jacket photo of the limited first edition of their best album was shown, and in a fusion of "visual" and "real" images, the mask was removed to reveal the true face of ClariS. As the lyrics of the new song "PRECIOUS" included in the best album "ClariS 10th Anniversary BEST - Green Star" say, "I want to meet everyone with my real face on this special day", the mask was taken off at the special live on the 10th anniversary. The mask was removed and ClariS's strong will to move forward to a new stage was evident.

At the end of the live, ClariS announced that they would be holding their first Christmas live, titled "Merry ClarismaS - Himitsu no Santa Claus-" on December 24, which was also a live that could not be missed.

Since their first single, ClariS has used an artist logo as the main jacket design for their CDs, but this best album's first limited edition jacket features a live-action face for the first time for ClariS.
