The title of the TV anime is "Tokyo BABYLON 2021. Animation production will be handled by GoHands, which has created many beautiful and delicate images, including the theatrical version of the "Mardock Scramble" series, and is also highly regarded for its original animations such as the "K" series and the new "Playta's Wound. The original work "Tokyo Babylon" is a manga work serialized in Shinshokan's "South" and "Monthly Wings" from 1990 to 1993, and is regarded as CLAMP's early masterpiece.

The story features the main character, Subaru Sumeragi, who solves various spiritual cases as an Onmyoji, his twin sister Hokuto, and the mysterious Sakurazuka Seishirou, and the attractive characters weave a human drama that reflects the current state of society.
