The "Godzilla Fest" was started to create a place for fans to gather and celebrate Godzilla's birthday on November 3, the day of the 1954 release of "Godzilla"; the event has been held annually on November 3 since 2017, attracting 25,000 people in 2019. It is a familiar event for Godzilla fans.

This year, due to the global outbreak of the new coronavirus, Godzilla Fest was considered until the last minute whether to cancel or hold the event. The preview of "Godzilla Fest Online 2020" has been released!

The overall host will be announcer Shinsuke Kasai. The guest is Kona Yamazaki, who will appear as a researcher in the briefing film of the world's first interactive attraction with a life-size Godzilla, "Godzilla Intercept Operation" (Nijigen-no-mori/Awaji Island). Hello. I am thrilled and excited to be appointed as the general chairman of "Godzilla Fest". I was in elementary school when I was obsessed with re-runs of Godzilla movies. I was a child who loved Godzilla and became an adult together with Godzilla, and even became a station announcer who "illegally appeared as an extra" in a Godzilla movie without the company's knowledge.
