In "Zombies Onslaught," players are equipped with their own custom load-outs and take on new maps based on those in the multiplayer mode in two-player teams. Equipment used in other zombie and multiplayer modes can be brought in directly, so players are free to choose LMGs, sniper rifles, and other key weapons depending on their own strategy to destroy the zombie hordes.

The two players fight the zombies within a specific area surrounded by a barrier created by the "DarkAether" orb on the map. The more zombies they continue to kill, the more powerful the orb becomes and the more difficult it becomes. As you progress through each wave, more powerful and fast-moving zombies will appear.
As the power of the orb grows stronger and the enemies are swept away, the player must keep moving around the map, as safe areas are constantly moving. Players will need to be resourceful in their strategies to defeat the hordes of zombies.

Each wave also features "elites," who are far more powerful than regular zombies. Do not underestimate them as one of the weaker enemies. Because you are fighting within a limited area, if you are not careful, they can close the distance between you and them in an instant and take both of you down.
However, in terms of score, the number of elites defeated by the two players determines the ranks of "Bronze," "Silver," and "Gold. The elites are not only the most dangerous enemy, but also the most important target.

Achieving certain ranks unlocks rewards that can be used in Zombies and Multiplayer modes, and new maps and rewards will be introduced each season for PS4/PS5 players.
