Comments from the main staff

The comments are written with great enthusiasm for this work.

Original story: Kumiko Saiki

It is a surprise that I am going to make an anime on the 25th anniversary of my career as a manga artist. I am surprised that I had such a future.
I myself am looking forward to seeing Sarasa and the other students of the 100th class of the Benihana Opera Music School step out of the black-and-white world and sing, dance, and speak vividly in a world full of color!

Director: Kazuhiro Yoneda (Animation "Yona of the Dawn", TV animation "Onikan no chitetsu" 2nd season, TV animation "Grapnir")

I don't want to put up a lot of pretty words, so I just respect the original work, take the work seriously, and work on it honestly and carefully. I will do what I can do to the best of my ability to please the audience.
Thank you very much for your encouragement.

Series composition: Tadashi Morishita (movie "Kidnapping", TV drama "Full Swing", TV drama "Yunagi City, Sakura Garden 2018")

I am very happy to have been asked to write the script for "Kagekishoujyo!" I was asked to write the screenplay for the film, and upon reading the original story, I was struck by the complex relationships between people, like a great drama, and the energy and refreshing friendship of the sensitive girls as they face their trauma and carve out their future.
I would like to once again express my respect for the hard work of everyone involved in the production of this film in the midst of the Corona disaster. And in times like these, it is my greatest pleasure to be able to deliver the power of entertainment and the power to keep dreaming.
Please give our best regards to the TV animation "Kagekishojo! We look forward to your continued support for the "KAGEKI SHOJO!

Music: Tsuneyoshi Saito (Takarazuka Revue Company's "Gekijo", musical "Bouquet for Algernon", anime series "Soukyu no Fafner")

I have always hesitated about the difference between the music for visual images and the music for stage plays, but this time, with "Kagekishoujo! I took the plunge and created a lot of theatrical-style music for "Kagekishojo!
It is not a musical animation, but I hope to convey the atmosphere of the real life of passionate girls who aspire to become theater performers, where every day is filled with theatrical performances, in an extraordinary world.
