Miniature but super realistic! I played with "Re-Mento Petit Sample Series: Always by Your Side Convenience Store"! ICHIOCHI'S PUCHI SAMPLE SERIES: Always There for You! Shokugan Road Vol. 14

Hello everyone! This is Kariyasu☆, a hobby writer. In this corner, I will be reviewing, modifying, and playing with Shokugan kits that interest me, under the theme of "Shokugan for adults. In this fourteenth installment, I will be reviewing the "Petit Sample Series: Always by Your Side Convenience Store," which is currently on sale from Re-Ment!

The Petit Sample series is popular because anyone can easily create miniature daily scenes and fancy spaces without any difficult knowledge or skills. The theme this time is convenience stores.

By collecting food items such as cup noodles, desserts, bento boxes and hot snacks, as well as small items such as boys' magazines, shopping baskets and plastic bags, you can recreate a shopping scene at a convenience store on your tabletop!

By the way, if you want to create a diorama like the one in the photo, we definitely recommend purchasing the box that comes with all 8 sets from the beginning and even includes a sheet that reproduces the cash register counter.

Inside the box are pre-colored miniatures of accessories and foods (no assembly required), and sheets and stickers of magazines and candy boxes that you can cut out and assemble yourself. If you have scissors and glue, you can start making them right away!

All the parts are assembled. Magazines and candy boxes are already assembled and stickers are already attached. For size comparison, I placed a 100 yen coin on the far right!

The playfulness is delightful! Let's take a closer look!

Some of the miniatures have little gimmicks or interesting messages hidden in the product packaging!

Everyone loves "Shakushaku-chan. The ice cream stick with the word "peri" written on it can be detached at will. It would be fun to cut off the end of the ice cream and make it look like it has been nibbled on!

Electronic money (IC card) yarika. I would love to have an IC card that actually has such a cute design. And on the back of the jelly drink Petit Energy, "Maybe this will improve the nutrition that tends to be unbalanced by instant ramen!" and a message.

The permeate is so realistic that it looks as if it were a scaled-down version of the real product. Bento, gratin, yakitori, American dog ....... The delicious-looking foods that you are tempted to buy when you stop by a convenience store are also well reproduced. They look realistic enough as they are, but let's try to make them look even more delicious!

The yakitori and silver salmon makunouchi bento have been made even more realistic! The process is quite simple. Simply dilute Tamiya Enamel Red Brown and lightly smear it on the surface to give it a three-dimensional effect, and then apply Clear Orange to the surface to reproduce the sauce. Incidentally, if black is used when smudging on food, it will look like it has been soggy with soy sauce and look bad, so the key is to use delicious-looking colors such as brown, orange and red!

*Smudging...... is a technique in which enamel paints are diluted with a special solvent and poured into the concave areas of a model to darken them and create a three-dimensional effect. Once you experience the sensation of the paint flowing smoothly through the model by capillary action, it is inevitable that you will become addicted to it!

The after-party was a home-drink by myself!

　I think it's best to drink alone and relax!

I declined the invitation to the after-party and headed home. On the way home, I stopped by Petit Mart and bought a can of chu-hi, edamame, breakfast for tomorrow, and my favorite book, "Shonen Sarukou.

　I don't like to drink with the guys at work. They don't talk well together, and when they get drunk, they start making strange calls. ...... Well, that's OK. Anyway, good job for another day!

I thought to myself, "Would beer have been better with the edamame? I thought to myself, "I would have preferred beer with my edamame," but then I reconfirmed the advantages of drinking alone while reading manga and chibi-chibi.

→The sofa and table were appropriated from "Ore-no-Ie". Drinking at home has a different charm from drinking at a pub, doesn't it?

《Registration paused!

　"Oh, I forgot to make a reservation for recording! I have to go home soon!"

There are only 15 minutes left until the broadcast of a late-night drama in which the new idol I'm pushing for, Fuchiko Tomochi, plays the lead role for the first time. I've got to go to the convenience store to buy dinner and beer and go home...

　Ah! It's Fuchiko in this week's Petit Boy gravure! Oh, this cake roll looks so good! Oh, I forgot we were out of Coke at home!"

I had planned to quickly shop and dash out, but when I realized it, 10 minutes had passed. And then, as I didn't expect, the cash register was inactive.

　The cash register over there is open. ......, but the clerk is nowhere to be found! Come quickly~!"

...... In the end, it took me 5 minutes to finish the checkout.

→I diverted canned beer and "petit boy" from "Ore-no-ka". I tend to buy things on impulse, don't you?
