Priestess in her dreams is really cute!

--Not only is this film meant to be a continuation of the TV anime, but it is also noteworthy that you can enjoy "Demon Slayer" on the big screen in the theater. First of all, please tell us about the highlights unique to the theater version.

Kito: Before the TV anime started airing, we screened the first five episodes of "Demon Slayer" in theaters as "The Bond between Siblings. This time, I think the main point is that we can see the battle of the stronger Sumijiro and his sisters, the battle of Purgatory, and especially (Purgatory's) flame breathing technique in a powerful way.

--What do you think is the highlight of the show?

Kito: Yes, that's right. This time, Priestess has quite a lot of cute scenes, so I hope people will look forward to seeing them on the big screen.

--I'm sure some of you have already seen the movie, so I'd like to ask you specifically what you thought was the cutest scene of Priestess!

Kito: I thought that the scene where Priestess appears in everyone's dreams was really cute. Especially, Priestess in Zenitsu's dream is really cute (laughs). (Laughs.) As soon as I saw the film, I wanted to see it one more time.

--This work is mainly set on an endless train. Were you conscious of the fact that you were in a small space where you had to move around?

Kito: Priestess does not move dynamically, so I was not conscious of that. But Sumijiro and Inosuke climbed on top of the train, and the scene where they fight the tentacles of Enmu was particularly powerful, so I think it is worth seeing.

--So you are also looking at it from a fan's point of view.

Kito: That's right (laughs).

(Laughs) -- So, for those who are going to see the show two or three times in the future, as well as for first-time viewers, what details do you want them to see?

Kito: At first glance, "Demon Slayer" looks serious, but depending on how you think about it, there are scenes that are quite funny. But everyone says it too naturally and accepts it without hesitation. So I think there is a way to enjoy listening to them.

Purgatory is a man with a strong "heart" and "brotherly" spirit.

--Mr. Kito is a strong man with a "heart" and an "older brotherly heart". What is your impression of Kito's character, Kyojuro?

Kito: Not only is he very strong (in battle), but when I read about his family, I felt that he has a really strong "heart". He is very mature and dependable despite his young age. Sumijiro is usually the older brother of Priestess and tries his best as the eldest son, but when he is with Mr. Gengoku, he seems like a younger brother. I think he has an "older brotherly" side to him.

--If someone like him were my boss, or if he were a teacher like in the "KIMETSU GAKUEN MONOGATARI" (an extra section in the original comic book), I would be very happy to have him as my teacher! How would you feel if someone like Mr. Purgatory were your boss, or if he were a teacher like in "KIMETSU GAKUEN MONOGATARI" (an extra corner in the original comics)?

Kito: I think it would be fun. I think it would be fun. I think he would liven things up, and I think he would be reliable enough to help us out when we need it. However, you might be surprised at ...... how he doesn't know what he is thinking or how loud he is (laughs).

--(laughs) - their expressions are so powerful that you may feel a little scared until you understand them. Incidentally, as mentioned earlier, "dream" and "unconscious realm" are also keywords in this work. If such an unconscious world is spreading inside of you, Kito-san, what kind of world do you think it is?

Kito Well, ...... I really like anime and manga, so I think it would be nice if there were lots of anime characters and such (laughs).

-I'm afraid that if I get into it, I won't be able to come back. Naturally, there are characters you like, aren't there, Mr. Kito?

Kito: Yes. I have a feeling there will be a lot of them.

--If it were a character from "Demon Slayer," who would it be?

Kito: Well, I don't know. I would like everyone to be there. Even the demons might be there (laughs).

--(Laughs.) - The background and circumstances of how each of them became demons are also a part of the charm of "Demon Slayer".

Kito: That's right. It depends on the demon, but I get emotionally involved in the story.

--I understand very much. Now, please give us your final message.

Kito: By the time you are watching this, "Infinity Train" will have been released. I think you will want to see this movie again and again, so I hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy it in the great power of the theater and come back again and again to see it.

--Thank you very much!
