Original animation narrated by Takahiro Sakurai was released to commemorate the appearance of the new Shinkarion! Plarail DXS Shinkarion N700S Nozomi" on sale!

Plarail DXS Shinkarion N500S Nozomi" will be released on December 5 (Sat) as the final part of the "Shinkansen Transformers Shinkarion" 5th anniversary project. The price is 6,000 yen (excluding tax).
A new animated video was also released to coincide with the release of this new train.

The "Plarail DXS Shinkarion N500S Nozomi" character was developed based on the motif of the latest "Shinkansen N700S Nozomi," which will begin commercial operation on July 1, 2020 as the first fully remodeled train since the N700 series. The character is a part of the product specifications and is a part of the fun by incorporating the "battery device for self-propulsion" and the "mobile power outlet" installed in every seat of the train.
In addition, two new videos (1) original animation and (2) product introduction video were released to commemorate the launch of the "Shinkarion N700S Nozomi. The original animation is narrated by voice actor Takahiro Sakurai.

Shinkarion incorporates the "features" of the "Shinkansen N700S Nozomi!
1) Transportable Battery Supreme Dragon
The "Battery Self-Propulsion System" installed in JR Tokai's "Shinkansen N700S Nozomi" has been incorporated into the product as the "Transportable Battery Supreme Dragon" in the character's design.
The "battery self-propulsion system" of the "Shinkansen N700S Nozomi" is designed to run on its own at low speed even when the train stops for a long period of time due to an earthquake or other reasons. The "Transportable Battery Supreme Dragon" can further power up the attack of the "Shinkarion N700S Nozomi" and support mode changes to maximize the Shinkarion's ability to fight alone.
*The "Transportable Battery Supreme Dragon" cannot be used as an actual battery.

2) Concentration plug

The "Shinkansen N700S Nozomi" has power outlets in every seat, which are used in this product as "Concentration Plugs" that can be plugged into the Shinkarion itself and its weapons to perform special moves.
The "Concentration Plug" is located at the end of the tail (concentration cable) of the "Transportable Battery Supreme Dragon" and can be plugged into the arms, legs, and weapons (Kurumadomegan Blade) of the Shinkarion. In the original animation, special moves utilizing the "Concentration Plug" are shown, allowing the user to expand the play image and enjoy the game more.
*The "Concentration Plug" cannot be used as an actual outlet. Also, the special moves are based on character settings, and no sound or action is generated by plugging it in.

The DXS series (sold separately) can be overcrossed to create a 5-car combination, allowing you to enjoy it together with the Shinkarion you already own.

Commemorating the launch of the new train cars!

(1) "Shinkarion N700S Nozomi" Original Animation

An original animation of "Shinkarion N700S Nozomi" was created to commemorate the arrival of the new car.
It is a completely new animation that includes a two-stage mode change scene and a scene in which the "Supreme Slash" special move is unleashed. The narration for the film is by popular voice actor Takahiro Sakurai, who is well known for his role as Giyu Tomioka in the TV animation "Demon Slayer. He is from Aichi Prefecture, where the "Shinkansen N700S Nozomi" is manufactured, so he was chosen to appear in the film.

This video introduces how to play with the "DXS Shinkarion N700S Nozomi" and its appeal.
The video shows the mode change, the connection of the "Concentration Plug," and the overcrossing and merging with "Shinkarion E5 Hayabusa" in live action.

■About Shinkansen N700S Nozomi
The latest model of Shinkansen train, the first fully remodeled train since the N700 series, will begin commercial operation in July 2020. The "S" in the name stands for "Supreme," meaning "the best" in the N700 series.
