[Plenty of photos! Collaborations with 4 municipalities and 7 companies were also announced! Report on the production announcement of the third season of the anime "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X"!

The production announcement for the third season of the "Evil Girl Dropkick" anime was held on October 28, 2020. On stage, the title of the third season as well as new collaborating municipalities and companies were announced, and a number of measures were revealed.

The anime "Jyakami-chan Dropkick" is an animation based on the comic series by manga artist Yukio, which has been serialized in the web comic "COMIC Meteo" since 2012. The comedy depicts the dangerous and funny cohabitation of Evil God Girl, a demon from the demon world, and Hanazono Yurine, a college girl who summoned her.

The first TV anime season aired in 2018, and the second season will air in 2020; in October 2020, a crowdfunding campaign was launched for the third anime season, which reached its goal of 20 million yen in two days and production was decided. (The crowdfunding campaign will continue until the end of December.) ) It is attracting attention as a unique IP that actively engages in collaborations that are not bound by the existing framework of the animation business, such as crowdfunding and hometown tax payment.

We have already announced that the production of the third season has been decided through the crowdfunding that started recently. This time, information on the new title that has been decided upon, as well as the municipalities and companies that will be collaborating with the new project, was revealed.

First to take the stage was production executive director Koichiro Natsume.

Perhaps due to the topic of collaboration with local governments, the press conference was attended by many members of the general media. Therefore, there must have been many reporters who had never heard of "Evil Girl. In light of this situation, Ms. Natsume gave an explanation of "Jyakami-chan" starting with the screening of the first season's OP video.

It was a surreal situation, as the work "Jyagami-chan" was explained seriously in a classy hall. It was a gag at this point.

Incidentally, we were also introduced to the Akiba Research Institute's official poll project in which "Jyagami Chan" came in first place. Thank you very much!

Next up was the announcement of the title of the third anime season.

The title of the next work was revealed to be "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X". The naming right for the title was sold for 1.1 million yen (including tax) through crowdfunding, and as we have already reported in an article, "Ko-chan," an evil Buddhist living in Osaka, was the successful bidder.

At the press conference, Ko-chan himself took the stage and expressed his wish that "the battle between Ko-chan and Yurine will continue for a long time to come. The third season will feature various collaborations, and the staff gave the OK to the title "Jyakami-chan Drop Kick x xxx" at the first shot.

Next to take the stage were Aina Suzuki, who plays the role of Evil Goddess, and Himasa Omori, who plays Yurine Hanazono. The two looked quite nervous in the calm atmosphere, which was clearly different from their usual sabbat (an event related to Evil God Girl).

The third season will be more fun for everyone, so I want to make it up together with everyone" (Omori) and "No one knows how the third season will turn out, but I want to continue to work hand in hand with Evil God-chan" (Suzuki).

Next, the local governments that will collaborate on "X" were announced.

The collaborators are Obihiro City, Kushiro City, and Furano City from Hokkaido, and 4 cities in Minami-Shimabara City from Nagasaki Prefecture. Minamishimabara City from Nagasaki Prefecture.

Noritoshi Yonezawa (Mayor of Obihiro City) and Hiroya Emuna (Mayor of Kushiro City) attended the event, and Takeru Kita (Mayor of Furano City) and Masahiro Matsumoto (Mayor of Minamishimabara City) made remote appearances. They each expressed their thoughts on the collaboration and promoted the city's attractions.

For this collaboration, a collaboration poster with "Jyakami-chan Dropkick" was also unveiled. It is really smiling to see Jyakami-chan enjyoing at the famous places in each area.

There were also scenes in which Natsume, Omori and Suzuki actually tasted and explained local specialties such as Furano's wine and Minamishimabara's somen noodles, which often left one wondering, "Is this really a presentation by Evil God-chan? Mr. Omori said, "This is really a presentation by Evil Gods? As Mr. Omori said, "Even though it's Evil God-chan, it's such a serious event. ......! and the best part is that the situation is rather like a joke.

In addition, each municipality will be offering various "Evil God Girl" collaboration gifts in the form of Furusato tax payments, which is also something to look forward to. Please check the official website of each municipality for details on the Furusato-Tax Collaboration.
