PS5 "FINAL FANTASY XVI" teaser site released! Main visuals of the main character and other characters are also available!

Square Enix has released a teaser site for FINAL FANTASY XVI (Final Fantasy 16), the latest numbered title in the FINAL FANTASY series, which is scheduled for release as a PlayStation 5 title. On the teaser site. Along with the art of the main visual of this title, the site also provides information on the world that receives the blessings of the crystal and the characters that are central to the story.

The World

Varyszea" - it is a land blessed with crystals.
The "Mother Crystal," a huge block of crystal that exists in the people of the earth. The ether that surrounds it fills the land with prosperity, people use magic, and live in peace. With each country possessing its own giant Mother Crystal, the situation in Valisea was precariously balanced. ...... So it was until the world was consumed by the "Black Patch".

Main Characters

Clive Rothfield, the protagonist

The first prince of the Duchy of Rosalia and the protagonist of this work. 15 years old. He is 15 years old and born as the heir apparent of the Grand Duke of Rozalia, but he did not awaken as the dominant of the Phoenix, and his role was taken by his younger brother, Joshua. Clive trains to use a sword and is knighted at a tournament in his own right. Clive officially became Joshua's shield and was given the "Phoenix's Blessing," allowing him to use some of his abilities. He is soon caught up in a great tragedy, and becomes an avenger in pursuit of the mysterious summoned beast that caused the tragedy, the Black Efreet.

Joshua Rosfield

The second prince of the Duchy of Rosalia and Clive's younger brother. 10 years old. He is a dominant who carries the summoned beast Phoenix in his body. He respects his older brother Clive, and despite his noble birth, he has a friendly disposition that allows him to treat people without discrimination. He prefers writing to arms, and thinks that his brother Clive should have been the one to carry the phoenix rather than himself, who is sickly and weak. He is not fond of carrots. Joshua, like Clive, is involved in a great tragedy.

Jill Warrick.

A 12-year-old girl from the North who lives with the Rosfields. She was given to Rosalia by the northern tribes as a sign of peace, and she grows up with Clive and Joshua, and they become like brother and sister. She is a kind-hearted girl who cares for Clive and Joshua, and is a good friend to them.
