AnimeJapan 2021, one of the world's largest anime events, will be held from March 27 (Sat.) to 30 (Tue.), 2021, both in real life (at Tokyo Big Sight) and online. It has been almost two years since AnimeJapan 2019.

This will be the first time in two years since AnimeJapan 2019 that the event will be held in real life, and we have decided to take the "first step" for the continuous development of the anime industry and for anime fans who have been waiting for it, while taking maximum measures to prevent new coronavirus infection. The decision was made to hold the event in real life. The online event, which will be held in conjunction with Tokyo Big Sight, will be partially online for long-distance fans, and the company is considering new ways to showcase anime that are only possible online. Under the name of "Everything about anime is here," the event will create opportunities for people to experience anime in both the "real" and "online" worlds.

The real event will be held in the West and South Exhibition Halls of Tokyo Big Sight. The Business Day will be held online only, and the Family Anime Festa will not be held this year.

The theme of the 8th edition of the festival is "Connect". As the symbol of "7+1=8∞" and "∞" (infinity) indicates, we will do our best to make this event an event that will last for many years to come. We look forward to an unprecedented AnimeJapan that takes a step forward into a new era and utilizes both real and online resources.

1. Real-time event

The real event will feature powerful booths and exciting stage performances!

Exhibitors' Booths
Exhibitors' booths, which are the main feature of AnimeJapan, will of course be held. The latest anime information and various anime works will gather at the venue.

Many exciting stages of anime works will be held, including the latest information and talk stages by voice actors (about 40 stages are planned for the two days).

2. Online Event

Experience a new online version of AnimeJapan!

Some of the online developments will be charged for.

■Business
AnimeJapan attracts overseas buyers from about 30 countries around the world, and a variety of domestic and international business discussions are held. This year's event will be held online, creating an environment where buyers from all over the world can come to the show and learn about Japanese animation from all over the world.
Pre-registration is required to visit the exhibition. General visitors are not allowed.
