Getter Robo Arc" to be animated in the summer of 2021! The last "Getter Robo" by the late Ken Ishikawa will break through the era of stagnation and chaos!

The hit manga series "Getter Robo" by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa has been serialized for 46 years since 1974. The anime adaptation of "Getter Robo Arc," the final chapter of the series, has finally been decided, and a teaser visual and the first PV have been released.

Getter Robo Arc" is the final work of the "Getter Robo Saga," which began in 1974 with the manga "Getter Robo" by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa.

The "Getter Robo Saga" is the collective name for the various "Getter Robo" works that began with "Getter Robo. The original "Getter Robo" set a milestone for combined transformable robots. The spirit of "Combined Transformable Robot" was inherited by many subsequent works. Getter Robo" was followed by "Getter Robo G" (1975~), "Getter Robo No." (1991~), "Shin Getter Robo" (1997~), and in 2001, "Getter Robo Arc" was serialized in "Super Robot Magazine," an additional issue of Futabasha's Action Pizzazz magazine.
After that, Ken Ishikawa passed away suddenly. Both "Getter Robo Arc" and "Getter Robo Saga" were unfinished masterpieces.

It has been announced that "Getter Robo Arc" will finally be brought to life.
The anime that will be produced this time reflects the characteristics of the original work more strongly.

The teaser visual released depicts Takuma Nagare, the main character of the story, the main machine "Getter Arc," and Hayato Kami, the first pilot of the "Getter Robo" and deeply involved in the subsequent series.

In addition, the first PV also shows the OVA work "True (Change!!!)" and "Getter Robot: The Last Day of the World". Getter Robo: The Last Day of the World," a popular song written by Hironobu Kageyama, and the first PV shows the Getter Ark in action with a new version of the song "HEATS 2021" newly recorded by Kageyama.

This "Getter Robo Arc" is scheduled to be animated in the summer of 2021, directed by Jun Kawagoe, who worked on "Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo" and "Shin Getter Robo," and animated by Bee Media, which produced the "Getter Robo" OVA series.

It has been 46 years since the series was born. The "Getter Robot" series has been in existence for 46 years, and the outpouring of "passionate spirit" from this work will break through the stagnation and chaos of 2025.

A standing statue of "Getter Ark" over 2 meters in length will be installed at the "ROBOT exhibition," which will be actually built at Akihabara UDX. The prototype of the "Getter Robo Arc" related figure and other successive Getter Robo figures from Soul of Chogokin will be exhibited. This special exhibit foreshadows the fascinating product lineup that will be developed in conjunction with the introduction of the "Getter Robo Arc.
