The TV anime "Demon Slayer" will begin broadcasting in 2019. In the last episode aired in September and October of the same year, the main character Tanjiro Kamado and his friends boarded the "Infinity Train" and the story of "Tanjiro Kamado Tatsushi-hen" came to a close. The story of "Tanjiro Kamado Tatsushi Hen" closed with the scene where the main character, Tanjiro Kamado, and his friends board the "Mugen Train. The "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train Arc, which depicts a new mission for Tanjiro and his friends on the train, grossed over 4.6 billion yen in its first three days in theaters, and on October 25 (Sunday), its second week in release, it recorded a cumulative box office of 10.7 billion yen, It was the fastest box-office record in Japan's history, surpassing 10 billion yen in 10 days.

The "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train Arc is still going strong. Natsuki Hanae, who plays the main character Tanjiro Kamado, Satoshi Hino, who plays the role of Kyozuro Purgatory (*2), and Akira Ishida, who plays the much-talked-about role of Koza, gathered for the first time at an event to thank the audience for coming to the theater to support "Demon Slayer" and to give a stage greeting in honor of its release!

The gorgeous cast members appeared on stage to thunderous applause. Hanae commented, "I went to the movie theater on the first day of its release and saw it in IMAX the other day. The quality of the images, the power of the music, and everyone's performances were a dream come true, both as a performer and as a fan. I felt like I was dreaming as a performer and a fan of "Demon Slayer".

Hanae, Hino, and Ishida, who was making his first appearance at the event, talked about the fierce battle between Purgatory and Kakuroza, which has been drawing a lot of attention from fans. First, Hanae spoke about the recording of the battle, saying, "Hino-san and Ishida-san's performance was so intense that I felt a lot of tension. I was watching (the recording) in the back, but I was under pressure not to make a sound, and while watching their performance, the tension of Sumijiro's cue was great. I could clearly sense from the postrecording that a fierce battle was being waged. The voice actors also recalled how they were fighting to the death.

Hino also commented on playing the role of Purgatory in the film, "I was first conscious of Purgatory's strength as a person and the strength of his heart when I played him opposite Kakkoza. Even though he is a pillar, he is fighting a very strong enemy in the form of the Sangen no San, and although his strength is limited, in terms of mental strength, I tried to play the role with a dignity that would surpass even the demons of the Sangen no San." I tried to play the role with dignity," he said, "and I tried to act with the same sense of justice and mental strength that Purgatory possesses. It was precisely because he shared the same feelings during the recording that he was able to play the role of Purgatory, who has an unshakable core strength as a pillar of the character. As for his collaboration with Ishida, he said, "It was heated. The recording was before the period of self-restraint, so I was able to record with Ishida and Hanae and everyone else, so it was great to be in the same space with them and feel their passion. I was able to give my all to the performance, and I was able to put all of my heart and soul into it. In the battle scene, Hino revealed that he put his strong feelings into the scene just as Purgatory did when he confronted Kikkoza.

On the other hand, when Ishida was asked about Kakuroza, he said, "After reading the script of this movie, I thought Kakuroza was a sharp and edgy character, and I thought that he was not normal in the way he only sought strength, so I wanted to show that side of him to contrast with Purgatory. I thought it would be a good contrast to Purgatory by showing that side of him." He commented that he put his whole heart and soul into his performance to portray the insanity of Kikkoza, who is the complete opposite of Purgatory, seeking only strength to the point of insanity. He added, "As I mentioned in my opening speech, this is the first appearance of Kikkoza in the movie. Purgatory is a well-developed character in the TV series, and he suddenly appears as a rival to it... I felt a lot of pressure to play such a character, and I felt that I had to put my whole heart and soul into it. I felt that it was not the time to lend my heart to others." Because the character made his first appearance in the movie version, he looked back on the recording sessions and said that he put his whole heart and soul into his work, with a passion that would not be outdone by the other voice actors. Just as Purgatory and Kikkoza fight to the death, the voice actors put as much passion into their work as they did into the battle scene, and the result is a battle scene that will move the hearts of the audience and move them to tears.

The highlight of this fierce battle is the clash between the strong beliefs of the two opposing sides: Purgatory, who believes that life is precious and strong only because it is finite, and Ikueza, who seeks only eternal life and strength. Hino says, "Purgatory's strength lies in its family and its ability to fight for its own survival. Hino says, "Purgatory's strength lies in his desire to help his family, his juniors, his friends, and all those in need. I think his appeal lies in the fact that this desire lifts him to a higher place and makes him stronger. I believe that his mother's teachings and his experience in defeating demons as a pillar of the Onikagitai have enabled him to display such strength in front of Kakuroza. I thought that if they met at the right time, or if their gears mesh well, they could get along very well (laugh). Ishida said, "Unlike Purgatory, Kikkoza's strength is focused on becoming strong for himself, and I think his strength lies in his extreme determination to achieve his goal, which is to eliminate everything but becoming strong. He has a logic that is difficult to use in teaching and guiding others, and I don't think his strength is a righteous strength. Hanae strongly explained the appeal of the unique strength that is different from that of Purgatory. Hanae, in front of these two actors, said of playing Sumijiro, "After witnessing Hino-san and Ishida-san's performance, rather than thinking about the details of the play, I decided to just let my emotions take over and express my frustration, which Sumijiro could not do anything about, as I felt it. I felt as if I was there as Sumijiro, and I tried to express my feelings with all my heart and soul.

The high quality visuals that capture the fierce battle between the two men and the dynamic direction that makes one's hands sweat are another attraction that has endeared the film to audiences. Hino and Ishida commented on the images, "I was so overwhelmed that I forgot to breathe. The exchange of techniques, facial expressions, breathing, music, and even the end roll at the end of the film were all so amazing that after watching it, I was overwhelmed with a state of lethargy" (Hino). Of course, we gave it 100% during recording, but the finished product was so amazing that it made us want to make it even better. (Ishida) praised the tremendous battle scenes so much that they could not follow each other's attacks with their eyes. Hanae, on the other hand, said, "I thought that there are things that make you cry because they are so cool. The development of Kikkomanza's technique was beautiful. The battle sequence between Purgatory and Kakuroza is worth watching on a powerful screen, and since you can't follow the battle in one sitting, you'll want to go see it again and again." The battle sequence of the battle of the Fossa is worth seeing on the big screen.

At this point, Hanae announced "an announcement. The movie version of "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train will be released on October 16. It was released in theaters on October 16th, and has been seen by many people! (The number of viewers during the 16-day period from Friday, October 16 to Saturday, October 31)," Hino's voice echoed through the venue, and he said with joy, "Yomoyayo yomoyo! The audience gave a thunderous round of applause in celebration, and the smiles of the cast members and audience filled the venue.

The cast and the audience were all smiling. I am sure that in your memories, you are filled with the feeling that "Purgatory is here! I hope you will come to the theater again to remember your nightmares and how you felt when you saw Sumijiro's dream and wished it would continue. (Ishida), "Everyone involved in this "Infinite Train" has put their hearts and souls into the challenge. I hope you will take from this film the message of love with family, the way of life, and moving forward while accepting the reality of living, even in a time when the world is going through a difficult time. (Hino), "I am grateful that so many people enjoyed the film. I will continue to express my joy at being able to play Sumijiro, and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did. I will continue to do my best, never forgetting the words given to me by Mr. Kugoro! (The event closed with thunderous applause.
