Dragon Quest XI: The Search for Elusive Time S," scheduled for release on December 4, 2020 (Friday), began distribution on new platforms on November 3, 2020 (Tuesday) at 2:00 AM.
The Epic Games Store version is not yet available.

Dragon Quest XI: The Last Samurai" is a numbered title of the "Dragon Quest" series released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS in July 2017. Almost two years later, in September 2019, a new story, character voices, and other new elements were added for the Nintendo Switch in Dragon Quest XI: Seeking the Past. This is a power-up version of the same game, so to speak, and now it is being released on multiple platforms.

In this "playable demo version," you can play the story from the beginning of the adventure to just before Camus, Veronica, and Seña join the game and move on to the next town. The estimated playing time is about 10 hours, which allows you to fully enjoy the first part of the story in 3D mode.
Of course, saved data can be transferred to the full version. The game also allows players to experience the new elements of the game, such as character voices and the new shibari play.
