Sun-X has announced the production of the second "Sumikko Gurashi the Movie. A congratulatory illustration from the original author, Yuri Yokomizo, has also arrived.

The first movie, "Sumikko Gurashi: The Movie Sumikko Gurashi, the New Book and the Secret Book," attracted wide support from men and women of all ages, and was ranked No. 1 in "Yahoo! (according to Pia on November 9, 2019). It became a "big hit" with 1.22 million moviegoers.
