Here is the official report from the event.
Official Report
AiRBLUE, a unit of main characters from the next generation voice actor training game for smartphones "CUE! 1st Anniversary Party "See you everyday" was held on November 1 (Sun.), 2020 at Kalutz Kawasaki-Ohall in Kanagawa, Japan. The event was held on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the main hall of Kalutz Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture. The event consisted of two performances, one in the daytime and one in the evening, and the evening session was streamed online on ZAIKO.
The event was held under different circumstances from the usual ones, such as social distance between seats, dispersed entry, temperature checks, alcohol disinfection, masks, and a ban on vocal cheering, but many managers (a term used by "CUE!" fans) came to the venue.
Many of the managers (as the fans of "CUE!" call them) came to the concert. So tomorrow, will you talk about the future with me again? After the monologue by Hina Rokuishi, a PV introducing the characters finished playing, the 16 members of AiRBLUE appeared from the left, right and center of the stage in white shirts and long black skirts with the video of the game music video of "beautiful tomorrow" in the background. The live started with 16 members of AiRBLUE wearing white shirts and long black skirts.
It was the first time that all 16 members of AiRBLUE had gathered together since the mini-live just before the release of their 1st single "Forever Friends" about a year ago. This live performance was also a replacement for CUE's 1st Party "Hello, beautiful tomorrow!" which was held in the spring of this year but ended in vain due to the spread of the new coronavirus. The managers, who had been waiting long for the live, waved psyllium to add colors to their brilliance. In the chorus of the second song, "Colorful," a large number of petals of cherry blossoms were poured from the sky, which strongly conveyed the message that the 1st Party had finally come true here and now.
At the end of the second song "Colorful," she said, "I am so happy to meet you all! Please enjoy the show until the end! The cast greeted the audience with "Please enjoy the show until the end!
Since "CUE!" is a game that also emphasizes scenarios, a reading was included during the change of units and casts. The stage was a prequel to the live performance, and while some of the members were anxious about the live performance, others were happy to talk about the meal they would have for tomorrow's performance, expressing the characteristics of each unit and each character. The reading part was also an established part of the live performance, and there were tricks to make the audience feel that the cast members were standing on stage as characters, rather than interrupting the enthusiasm of the live performance. The world view of "CUE!" was more than adequately conveyed through the cleverness of the reading part, which included ad-libs for the shoelaces that came untied during the singing.
The unit part of the live performance started with the team "Wind". Wearing pink dresses with fluffy skirts reminiscent of ethnic costumes, the four members performed cute steps against the backdrop of animated images from the "CUE! The audience was enlivened by the clapping of "Steppin' Girl," in which even the managers, who could not speak, could join in.
The "Moon" team turned things up a notch with a dance performance that was a mix of intense and sexy under the red light that illuminated their black and white outfits. The members made eye contact with each other and performed a spectacular turn before the chorus, as well as choreography using stand-up microphones to create a strong visual impact as they passed the baton to the next team.
The team that received the baton, "Bird," was also a team with outstanding individuality. Yuuki, who had gotten excited and run ahead of the others as the song title suggests, was chastised and became sulky. The team was in danger of falling apart...? However, the four members who had strengthened their bond by singing "Dori☆Appi" sang "Nikoniko Waku Waku Souzoucho! The final "Flower" team sang "Dri☆Appi" and "Nikoniko Waku Soukoucho" again, which was a rare scene.
The final "Flower" team appeared with glowing baton sticks. They sang with the baton in the same way as the magical girls in the anime "Magical Girls Society Magic◆Works", making the audience fall in love with them. At the end of the song, they threw down their batons and moved on to the next song "One More Step!
At the end of the unit part, all 16 members of AiRBLUE gathered on stage again to perform a 16-member version of "our song," which had not been released on the CD. The song featured a special presentation in which the beautifully arranged circular dance formation was filmed from above, and the video was also shown on the screen in real time.
For those who have known the girls since their debut a year ago, the performance of both the unit song and the entire song, which was performed last November, was far superior to that of the previous year's performance. The performance of both the unit song and the overall song far surpassed that of last November's performance. Moreover, with the release and live events being canceled, postponed, and replaced by online performances, the effort to bring this level of performance to an audience for the first time in almost a year is commendable. This may be due to the synergistic effect of the heat brought by the local manager, which was reflected in the performance.
As they finished singing the last song, "Forever Friends," waving their hands in the air as if regretting the end of the concert, the members made three major announcements.
