JK×ceramic art anime "Yakunara Mug Mug too," "HONWAKA Seishun" PV is released!

The first PV from the TV anime "Yakunara Mug Mugomo," which will begin airing in April 2021, has been released.

The story is about four high school girls who fall in love with ceramics in Tajimi City, located in the southern part of Gifu Prefecture, and is based on the traditional craft of Mino ware. The project began as part of a project to "energize the city. The story is based on the free comic "Yakunara Mugugumo" published by Planet Corporation, a local IT company, since 2012.

A PV featuring the voice of Mimi Tanaka, who plays the main character Hineno Toyokawa, has been released.


In the PV, the town of Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture, famous for its high temperature of 40.9 degrees Celsius, is realistically recreated, and the main character, Himeno Toyokawa, a first-year high school student who has moved to Tajimi City, asks the viewers, "Is there anything you can be crazy about? The main characters other than Himeino also appear in the PV, including Sanka Kuzuri (cv. Yu Serizawa), who cheerfully welcomes Himeino to the pottery club, Naoko Naruse (cv. Yuki Wakai), who appears mysterious, and Juko Aoki (cv. Rina Honzumi), the club leader, who radiates love for pottery and an aura of a reliable club leader. It is a heartwarming adolescent rokuro anime about four high school girls, including Himeno, set in the city of Tajimi.

The highest temperature is 40.9 degrees Celsius! Tajimi, the town of pottery, brings a new story with animation and ceramics!
The story takes place in Tajimi City, a town famous for Mino pottery, located in Tono (southeastern Gifu Prefecture), where the famous tea master "Oribe Furuta" from the Warring States period had pottery made.

As part of a project launched in 2010 by volunteers and businesses in Tajimi City to "energize the city," local IT company Planet Inc. began publishing the free comic "Yakunara Mug Cup too" in 2012. The comic is based on the free comic "Yakunara Mug Mugomo" published by a local IT company Planet Inc. (As of July 2020, the series has reached volume 32.)

The cast of the film includes Mimi Tanaka as Himeno Toyokawa, Yu Serizawa as Sanka Kuranashi, Yuki Wakai as Naoko Naruse, and Rina Honzumi as Juko Aoki.

The staff includes Jun Kamiya ("Kingdom," "Hikaru no Go") as director, Toshihisa Arakawa ("Kingdom," "This Art Club Has Problems") as series composition and script writer, Ayano Yoshioka ("The Movie Comes Through") as character designer, Nippon Animation ("Chibimaruko-chan The Movie Comes Through") and Nippon Animation ("Chibi Maruko-chan", "The Movie Comes Through", "The World Masterpiece Theater Series").
