Winter anime "Mage Orphen Hagure Tabi Kimurak-hen", Maaya Sakamoto and others will be in the assassination squad "Death Teacher"!

New character and cast information has been released from the TV anime "Mage Orphen Hagure Tabi Kimurak Hen" which will start airing on January 20, 2021 (Wednesday). In addition, the OP theme and the broadcast on AT-X have also been decided.

The "Magician Orphen" series by Sadanobu Akita is a dark fantasy light novel masterpiece that has sold more than 14 million copies (including e-books) since the first volume was published in 1994. The series was adapted into an anime again in 2012, with the first season airing to great acclaim. The second season "Mage Orphen Hagure Tabi Kimurak Hen" will start airing on January 20, 2021 (Wed.) at 22:00.

Following the new character Mechen (CV. Akari Kito) in the "Kimurak Arc", four additional characters and cast members have been revealed.

The story follows Orphen's (CV. Shotaro Morikubo) sister-in-law, Azalee (CV. Yoko Hikasa), as she travels to Kimlak, a town that is hostile to mages. The four members of the "Teacher of Death," an assassination squad of the Church of Kimlak that lurks there, are Sarua, Kuo, Carlotta, and Naim. They are tasked with the eradication of sorcerers and engage in a fierce battle with Orphen and his men.

The voices of these four important characters will be played by Yoshiyuki Shimotsuma as Sarua, a rebel teacher of death; Tomokazu Sugita as Kuo, the most powerful assassin; Maaya Sakamoto as Carlotta, the cunning second-in-command; and Takehito Koyasu as Naim, a dark and scheming strategist.
To commemorate the release of this information, comments from the cast members expressing their enthusiasm and thoughts about the film have also arrived.

<Story
The strongest mage, once again.
If you want to settle things with me, come to Kimlak." Following the words left by his sister-in-law, Azalee, the Orphens head for Kimlak, where the mages are engaged in a fierce conflict.
Suddenly, Orphen hears a scream and rushes to the scene, where he encounters Metzen, a female swordswoman fighting valiantly against the enemy amidst a heap of corpses.
In exchange for his help, Orphen asks her to lead him to Kimurak.
After destroying the enemy, Orphen and his friends eventually arrive at Kimulak, where they are met by the "Teachers of Death," who are in charge of assassinating mages, led by Kuo. What is the "truth of angels and demons" that Orphen finally arrives at? What is the true meaning of Azalee's invitation to this place?
