GUNPLA EXPO TOKYO 2020 feat. GUNDAM conference" was held from November 12 (Thu.) to 15, 2020at Mitsui Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza in Tokyo, wherethe latest Gunpla models were gathered under one roof.

Akiba Research Institute introduces some of the highlights from the event, where many new Gunpla models were exhibited!
This time, we will introduce the culmination of 40 years of Gunpla history! We have compiled a list of RX-78-2 Gundam items, including the "PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-78-2 Gundam"!
Take a good look at these large items, the starting point of Gundam and the cutting edge of Gundam plastic models!

■PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-78-2 Gundam

This large kit is the culmination of 40 years of Gundam plastic models. It features mechanical parts from the internal frame, truss frame, and exterior, and is built up as if you were really assembling a mobile suit.
It was also displayed with the hatch open.
