Collaboration between "ONE PIECE" and artists/creators! BUSTERCALL=ONE PIECE Exhibition" starts today in Yokohama!

BUSTERCALL=ONE PIECE Exhibition," an art project involving a total of 200 artists from around the world, opened today, November 20, at the Yokohama Asso Building.

Over the past 20 years, "ONE PIECE" has been transmitting its overwhelmingly passionate stories, messages, and contents to the world through the medium of manga and anime. The "BUSTERCALL = ONE PIECE Exhibition," an art project that aims to express and disseminate these stories in a completely new form with a total of 200 artists and creators from Japan and around the world, opened today, November 20, at the Yokohama Asso Building.


This is the first time this project has been held in Japan, after exhibiting at the street culture festival "Complexcon" in Los Angeles last November and the Shanghai competition "INNERSECT" in December.


Participating artists include Kosuke Kawamura, COOKIE, PERIMETRON, Blue Aoi, Mirai Asakura, Schema Architecture Project, SUSHIBOYS, Plexus, etc. A total of 200 genre-less well-known creators and artists from Japan and abroad will participate. The exhibition will include paintings, videos, sculptures, apparel, and other works of art by the late internationally acclaimed designer Kansai Yamamoto, his last work of art before his death.


The exhibition will also feature BUSTERCALL original goods, T-shirt workshops, raffle sales, and various other contents.


*In response to the spread of the new coronavirus, the exhibition will be held on a "full date and time" basis, limiting the number of visitors per day. Disinfection and ventilation will be avoided at the venue, and sufficient measures have been taken to avoid contact as much as possible at the store.

At the venue, original event goods will be on sale, copies of some creators' works will be sold by lottery, and a workshop will be held where visitors can press a total of 27 famous scenes from "ONE PIECE" onto T-shirts. Visitors will be able to create their own original T-shirts by pressing their favorite memorable scenes onto their T-shirts, which will be available for purchase at the merchandise sales area in the exhibition hall.

Lottery sale of reproductions
A limited number of reproductions of some creators' works will be sold by lottery.
The site for the lottery will be announced at the venue. Winners will be notified by e-mail at a later date.
