Puyo Puyo Tetris 2" to be released on December 10, 2012, with "Adventure" mode and new character information!

The PS5/PS4/Switch/Xbox Series X/Xbox One versions of "Puyo Puyo Tetris 2" scheduled for release on December 10, 2020, will feature an "Adventure" mode with additional challenging elements, a "Lesson" mode, and additional character information.

Newly written story
In the "Adventure" mode, you can enjoy a newly written story.

Chapter 1 Synopsis
Ringo was enjoying peace at Suzuran Junior High School. Suddenly, Tee, O and X fall from the sky. Ringo feels nostalgic for Tee, who is dressed in a strange outfit she has never seen before. According to X, the two worlds of Puyo Puyo and Tetris, which were once properly separated, have gotten mixed up again.

Ringo and Tee are searching for the mastermind behind this mix-up. They meet Maguro, a classmate from Suzuran Junior High School, Risukuma-senpai, Aruru, who was sent away when they were playing PuyoPuyo, and Amity, and as they make more friends, they reach a girl (Marle) who seems to be the mastermind behind the whole thing...

A new movable map!

In "Adventure" mode, you can move around on the map. The story progresses by selecting the stage you want to play.
Depending on the map, there are side stories and areas that can be conquered in any order.

Item cards are dropped that can be used in "Skill Battles"!

Winning a Skill Battle in the Adventure mode will result in a random drop of Item Cards that can be used in Skill Battles, as well as experience points.
The parameters and special effects of the Item Cards are determined at random each time they are acquired, so you can acquire more powerful cards by playing repeatedly.

Random missions!
Random missions may occur at the start of "Skill Battle" in the "Adventure" mode. The missions have various conditions, and by clearing and winning the mission, you can acquire more item cards than usual or the level of the item cards you can acquire will be higher.

My Data

In "My Data," you can check various in-game settings, as well as the results of clubs and tokens.

Player
In the "Player" section, you can set the player icons that will be displayed throughout the game, set the character you normally use as "My Character," and set the skin for each player during games.

Team Editing
Players can organize teams for use in the new skill battle rules. Teams can be made up of three characters and four item cards.

Store
Use points earned in the game to purchase skins for Puyos and Tetriminos, voice changes for each character, and player icons.

BGM
BGM and SEs used in the game, voices of each character, manzai demos of adventures, and replays created in competitive games can be viewed.

results
You can check the results of Internet battles, records of tokens, and achievements made during the game.

Opuson
Various system-related settings can be made, such as vibration settings and selection of ghost display operation type.

Lesson mode allows you to learn the basics of chaining and stacking!

In the "Lesson" mode, you can learn how to play Puyo Puyo, Tetris, Puyo Tetomix, and Skill Battle. The lessons include "Basic," "Application," and "Research," which serve as tutorials, as well as "Problems" that players can control. Beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players can enjoy learning the basics and techniques of Puyo Puyo and Tetris.
