Gintama Special Countdown Distribution" on ABEMA! For 10 consecutive weeks, "Shin-Sen-Gumi Disturbance Arc" and other full-length works will be distributed all at once!

ABEMA, a TV and video entertainment channel, will hold a special "Gintama Special Countdown Distribution" starting Saturday, November 21, 2020.

GINTAMA" is an anime series based on the popular manga by Hideaki Sorachi. Set in a Japan that has come under the control of aliens who attacked Japan at the end of the Edo period (1603-1868), the anime features the maverick protagonist Gintoki Sakata, his "Bankotsuya" friends including Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura, Gintoki's old comrade Kotaro Katsura, Shin-sen-gumi leader Isao Kondo and his men Jushiro Hijikata, Sogo Okita, and the "Madao" (a nickname for the "Madao"). The film depicts the slapstick daily lives of a cast of highly individualistic characters, including Kotaro Katsura, an old friend of Gintoki's; Isao Kondo, the head of Shin-Sengumi, and his subordinate Jushiro Hijikata; Sogo Okita; and Taizo Hasegawa, nicknamed "Madao.
On January 8, 2021 (Friday), a movie titled "The Last Gintama! The movie "GINTAMA THE FINAL" is scheduled to be released on January 8, 2021 (Fri.), and fans' expectations for the movie are rising.
