Dead by Daylight Silent Hill Edition Official Japanese Version for PS4 Released Today! Lyrics to the included soundtrack song "Like the Moon" are now available!

The PS4-exclusive package for Konami Digital Entertainment's "Dead by Daylight Silent Hill Edition Official Japanese Version," including the "Silent Hill" collaborative chapters, was released today, November 26, 2020.

Available exclusively in Japan, the product includes the main "Dead by Daylight" game, two additional "Silent Hill" chapters and the original "Chain of Hate" chapter. The package also includes the "Silent Hill Edition: Special Soundtrack" CD (8 tracks), a special bonus package created to commemorate the collaborative chapters, for the price of 4,600 yen (excluding tax).

The "Special Soundtrack", an item included only in the packaged version of "Dead by Daylight Silent Hill Edition Official Japanese Version", is a special soundtrack featuring "Dead by Daylight" composer Michelle F. April and "Silent Hill" composer Akira Yamaoka, which was realized in the "Silent Hill" chapter of the game's additional content. The "Special Soundtrack" is a commemorative collaboration between "Dead by Daylight" composer Michelle F. At the suggestion of Mr. Yamaoka, who is also a Dead by Daylight player, the first song sung in the "Dead by Daylight" series will be included as a bonus track, with Japanese lyrics.

The singing song "Like the Moon" was written and composed by Akira Yamaoka with lyrics and music inspired by Yui Kimura, the first Japanese survivor character in the series' history, who appeared in the "Cursed Bloodline" chapter*, an additional content related to the Yamaoka clan.
His beautiful voice, filled with sadness and reminiscent of Yui's inner thoughts as she wanders into the foggy forest, will bring the charm of "Dead by Daylight" to many Japanese game and horror fans.
