[Character & Cast Comments

■Rio / Haruto Amagawa (CV: Sadayuki Matsuoka)

An orphan boy living in the favelas of the Kingdom of Beltram, Rio is suddenly awakened by memories of Haruto Amakawa, a college student who died in an accident when he was 7 years old. Confused by Haruto's memories, an incident leads him to enroll in the Royal Academy, a school for orphans and aristocrats.
Under the influence of his revived memories, he is more mature than his age and always responds rationally. On the other hand, she sometimes struggles with her different values due to the combination of Rio's ruthlessness from her harsh upbringing and Harujin's common sense from his upbringing in modern Japan.

Impression of this film
The world of this film is a world of human kindness, human dirtiness, and glimpses of many other things.
The world is expressed through a mixture of the kindness of each character, the strength of the main character, and the fear of the characters.
I would like to play the role with care and without destroying the worldview of the characters, and I ask for your kind support for "Spirit Fantasy.

What are your impressions of the characters and your enthusiasm for the role?
Rio and Haruto are quite naïve characters who have separate memories and yet have different memories in one person's body.
When I play the role, I have Haruto's memories and potentially Haruto's feelings. It requires a great deal of subtlety.
Rio's fear and honesty, and Haruto's kind heart, are now in my arms. I will play the role with great care, so please give me your best regards!

■Celia-Claire (CV: Akane Fujita)

At only 12 years old, she is a talented young lady who works as a lecturer at the Royal Academy. Although she is a countess, she has no prejudice against Rio, a commoner, and treats him with equality and kindness. She is the only person Rio, who is isolated at the academy, can trust. She appears to be a quiet and reserved daughter without saying a word, but she has a surprisingly frank, innocent, mischievous, and maidenly side.

Impression of this work
I have been involved in this work since the drama CD, and I have an image of Rio always being overwhelmed when she is surrounded by women. When I think of Rio's face, the expression that immediately comes to mind is "wry smile" (laughs). Rio is surrounded by all kinds of people, some cute, some prickly, some blunt, but I get the impression that Rio is able to moderate and accept them all.

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
I think she is so smart and strong that I can't imagine from her age. She seems like a saintly mother. I love the childishness and cuteness of her age, which is hidden in between...and sometimes completely visible. The animated version of Celia's character makes me feel her loveliness even more strongly.
I would like to play the role of Celia so that I can show you all the various faces of her.

Aisia (CV: Yuki Kuwahara)

A mysterious presence who occasionally appears in front of Rio, whose memories of Haruhito have been revived. She has an inhuman beauty and a fantastic atmosphere, and teaches Rio how to handle her magical powers when he is in danger. She seems to have lost her memory and does not know what kind of being she is. She is a man of few words and always seems to be in a sleepy mood.

<Cast Comments

Impression of the film
The life of the main character, Rio, was spectacular, and I was very excited to see how Aisia, the character I play, would relate to Rio. I remember that the recording of the drama CD was very lively and enjoyable because of the many fascinating characters. I am very excited to see how the anime will be different from the original, with more detailed movements and expressions!

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
My first impression of Aisia was that she had a mysterious and fluffy air about her, and that every casual gesture she made was cute. I hope that I can express that image in my voice and convey her "mysterious and cute" charm that makes you want to hug her unintentionally. In the world of anime as well, I would like to walk slowly and at my own pace just like her. I hope you will continue to warmly watch over Aisia and "Spirit Fantasy"!

Latifah (CV: Tomori Kusunoki)

She is a Fuchsbau girl who is kept as a slave by the Duke of Huguenot. She is physically strong due to her race, and is sent as an assassin on her master's orders to assassinate Rio. She is forced to endure the harsh environment of the slave's collar, suppressing all emotions.

<Cast Comments

Impression of the film
The backbone of each character is very heavy, and in a good way, it was painful to read. The important process of the story is carefully depicted, so it was easy to get emotionally involved in the characters, and I couldn't help but wonder "What will happen next? I couldn't help but wonder, "What is going to happen next?

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
In the drama CD, I played Latifah's tomboyish and overly cute side, so I tried to give a performance that would make the audience's faces smile. I am very much looking forward to playing not only the cute but also the essential part of Latifah in the anime adaptation.

Miharu Ayase (CV: Aya Harada)

A childhood friend and first love of Haruto Tengawa. They had promised to get married, but were separated when they moved away. Eventually, they enter the same high school, but they are never reunited and Miharu goes missing. She is kind, attentive, and somewhat withdrawn, but has a strong core.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
I had the impression that the characters were rich in individuality and that the drama CD had many very lively scenes.
The story of the original story is an exciting one, with each character's encounters and relationships, the process of building trust, memories from a previous life, etc. I wonder what facts we will find out next and how things will develop... I think this is an exciting work!

What is your impression of the character you are playing and your enthusiasm for the role?
Miharu is ladylike and a bit reserved, but she is a very hardworking and healthy girl. Personally, I feel that she is an ideal girl.
I am very happy to be able to play the role of Miharu again, following on from the Drama CD. I will do my best to play Miharu so that everyone can feel her gentle and soft atmosphere in the anime!

■Christina Bertram (CV: Sayumi Suzushiro)

She is the first princess of the Kingdom of Bertram. She is a talented girl with a smart personality who excels in everything she does. She has a strong sense of responsibility as a member of the royal family, but she also has a high sense of pride and sometimes looks harshly at Rio, who is a commoner but still an excellent student. She is very protective of her younger sister, Flora.

<Cast Comments

What is your impression of this work?
When I saw the original work for the first time, I was instantly drawn into the world of the work from the episode before my reincarnation. I couldn't stop reading the story, with its heartrending sadness, fun comedic elements, and carefully depicted feelings of each heroine toward Rio...! I am very happy to be able to play the role of Christina in the TV anime again, including the role of Christina when she was a little girl, since I joined the drama CD in the middle of the story.

What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
I got the impression that Christina is a very talented and talented princess. However, as I read the original story, I realized that because she is such a brilliant person, she also has her own struggles... I myself admired Christina for her strong and dignified attitude. I also admire her sisterly love.
I will do my best to play the role with Christina's feelings in mind!

Flora Bertram (CV: Kaede Hondo)

The second princess of the Kingdom of Bertram and Christina's younger sister. She is the opposite of Christina in that she has a weak temperament, but she has the kindness to consider other people's feelings. She is good at healing magic. She is interested in Rio, who is the benefactor who saved her and attends the same academy.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
I am very excited to get back the memory of my previous life. It's very exciting to be able to recover the memories of your previous life! And if those memories are completely different from my current world....
I really enjoyed the exchanges we had in the Drama CD, so I'm looking forward to enjoying the anime as well!

What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
Flora is a very attractive girl who is graceful and intelligent. She is a little timid, but I think she is someone you want to protect.
I will do my best as I deal with Flora, so thank you all for your support!

Roana Fontaine (CV: Ayaka Kaneko)

She is the daughter of the Duchesse de Fontaine, a member of the King's faction. She often works with Princess Christina at the Royal Academy. As the daughter of a duke, she has a rather coercive manner, but she has no bad intentions as she is trying to fulfill her duties as a noblewoman.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
I thought it was a cute story from the title and illustrations. However, I was betrayed in a very good way, and I can only say that it is very interesting! The development of the story draws you into the work, and each of the characters is fascinating. I am very happy to be able to play the role of Roana Fontaine.

What is your impression of the character and your enthusiasm for the role?
I have the impression that Roana is a very serious and hardworking girl who is strict with others, but I think she is also a strong-willed girl who is strict with herself and keeps her beliefs to herself. She is proud of her birthplace, which is also attractive. I hope I can express her core strength and diligence. I look forward to working with you!

Alfredo Emaard (CV: Kenji Hamada)

He is the commander of the Kingsguard of the Kingdom of Bertram and the most powerful knight in the kingdom with the title of "Sword of the King. He has an honest character that can be said to be a model of a knight, but because of this, he does not get along well with the aristocratic Charles.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
I have not been able to follow the original story yet, but I wonder how the main character, who has the memories of two people in one body, will live in this world. What kind of story will be told with a mixture of serious and comical scenes? I was very much looking forward to the development of the story.

What is your impression of Alfredo and your enthusiasm for the role?
My impression of Alfred is that he is a man of solid character. I hope to give a sense of responsibility, severity, and fairness, as well as dependability as a member of the Kings of the Kingsguard. I hope that I can give a sense of trustworthiness as a person in my performance.

Charles Albeau (CV: Atsushi Tamaru)

Deputy Commander of the Kingsguard of the Kingdom of Bertram. He is the eldest son of the Duke of Albeau, the leader of the aristocratic faction that divides the kingdom into two factions, the King's faction and the Kingdom's faction.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
This anime was the first time I came across this work, and I felt the warmth in the story. Rio is often treated harshly because of his circumstances, but I like the scene where he meets Celia and the others who are kind to him and his heart gradually opens up and he smiles.

What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
Charles may seem to be just a bad person. But in fact, he is weak inside, but his pride prevents him from showing it. I think that in order to protect himself, he has naturally come to hit hard at others. I would like to play him with this in mind, and not just as a bad person.

Reiss-Wolff (CV: Koji Yusa)

A mysterious figure who appears and disappears in the dark. He appears wherever Rio goes and creates incidents.

<Cast Comments
Impression of this work
I thought it was a very mysterious work. The protagonist's upbringing and mixed memories are not revealed very well.
And I feel sorry for the main character because he is treated so badly.

Impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role.
This is also a very mysterious character.
I don't know what his purpose is. I don't have an explanation at the moment (laughs).

Lieselotte-Cretia (CV: Nao Higashiyama)

Duchess of the Kingdom of Garouark. She graduated from the Royal Academy with a high grade point average and founded the Ricca Chamber of Commerce. She is a beautiful and impeccable girl with a neat and gentle atmosphere, but she has also distinguished herself as a representative of the trading city of Amand with her calm and flexible thinking and worldly skills.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
First of all, I was fascinated by the beauty of the illustrations! What lovely girls...! I was so excited. When I played the role in the drama CD, each character was full of charm, and I remember thinking that I wanted to listen to their conversations forever. I am looking forward to seeing the anime version of the story come to life!

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Lieselotte is just adorable! And I am attracted to her modest but strong core personality. I would like to see more of her various expressions! I want to play the role! I wonder how much of Lieselotte we will be able to see in this anime adaptation...! (I hope everyone will enjoy both the original work and the anime!

Sarah (CV: Hiyori Nitta)

A silver wolf beastman girl who lives in the village of the spirit people. She often works together with Orphea and Alma, and is the leader of the three. She is often teased by Alma, who is younger than her, because of her earnest nature. She excels at melee combat using a dagger knife. He has a contract with Hel, a spirit in the form of a wolf.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
I was drawn into the work from the beginning, when the main character, Rio, and Haruto's memories from a previous life crossed paths....
All of the characters are fascinating, and I am too interested in Rio's growth as she interacts with various people!
I'm really looking forward to enjoying the anime in the future as well!

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Sarah is a silver-haired werewolf beastman and an older sister... I thought she was too cute at first glance! I thought she was too cute at first sight!
I am very happy to be able to continue playing the role of Sarah from the Drama CD!
I'm excited to see how the three girls from the village of the Spirit People will play an active role in the anime, and I'm looking forward to the recording sessions!

Orphea (CV: Shina Suto)

A high elf girl who lives in the village of the People of the Spirit. She has a soft and gentle personality, but she is also a surprisingly clever and tricky person. She is good with a bow. She is skilled in all kinds of spirit arts and has made a contract with the spirit Aerial in the form of a griffon.

Impression of this work
I have read the original work,
I read the original work, and from the very beginning, the situation was so harsh that I was on edge, wondering what was going to happen next! I was on the edge of my seat as I read the book.
As I watched Rio (Haruto Tengawa) overcome all kinds of adversity with his talent and calm judgment, I felt a sense of respect as well as a desire to support him. The storyline is intriguing and the various characters are full of personality.

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Orphea is the kind of girl who heals you just by being there. She is radiating negative ions. I couldn't help but think, "She's radiating negative ions...".
She has a gentle atmosphere that softly envelops you, but she also has a mischievous side that she sometimes shows, which is very cute.
I'm nervous because I've never played this type of girl before, but I'm really looking forward to it.
I will do my best to show you all the charms of Orphea!

Alma (CV: Asuka Nishi)

She is an Elder Dwarf girl who lives in the village of the Spirit People. She is the youngest among Sara and Orphea. She is not very talkative, but she sometimes teases Sarah, who is older than her. She has a contract with Iphrita, a spirit that looks like a lion.

<Cast Comments

Impression of this work
At first glance, one might think it was a happy-go-lucky harem story in another world, but in fact it is a serious story...! But in any case, all the girl characters are cute! But anyway, all the girl characters are so cute!
I want to enter this world too... I want to be friends with the girls.... But the battles are intense, so I want to leave everything to Rio....

What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Alma is a tiny Dwarf girl. My first impression was that she was energetic. But she is surprisingly calm and cool in battle.
She is one of the three girls in the village of spirits, and I would like to play her with an awareness of her character so that she will have a strong presence!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has loved and supported my work up until today.
I am a shy person, but I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet many wonderful people through this work.
I have been involved in the production of this work, even if only in a small way, and I have met a wonderful production team that has taught me that there are interesting aspects of a work that can only be depicted in animation, and that can only be expressed in animation.
I hope that the story of Rio and her friends, who move, speak, and show various expressions in the animation, will spread a wonderful relationship among you!
I would be very happy if we could all work together to make the Spirit Fantasy more exciting!
